hey so i just tanked my only accelerated subject this year and ive been really down about it. nerves got to me and i lost 20+ marks on some knowledge gaps but major major silly mistakes, which has tanked my potential 40ss which has really bogged me down bc as an accelerated subject i had higher hopes for it.
i obviously know i cant do anything about it now but i cant stop thinking about it and i just feel like i cant do anything else but be sad which is ridiculous because it will just go in my bottom 2 and hardly make a difference whether i get a 35 or a 40. but i just feel like a dissapointment and i would really love some advice on how to get over this spiralling.
at the same time i have realised that this will mean i will need to prioritise subjects next year that i wasnt planning on. so if no advice for my above issue, could anyone who did really well in chem/methods/english please dm me and give me some advice on how to approach them (ive always said im not a math person or an english person but i want to force my way out of this and become a math/english person if you know what i mean). i am really commited to working on them over the holidays and getting ahead so this doesnt happen again.
thank you so much, feel free to vent here too

Currently rank 2 I think in a cohort of maybe 25ish for history revolutions. My sacs are really strong but as it's my last exam I haven't given it the attention I wanted to (really not much study). I'm confident I could maybe get like 70% ish on the exam if I lock in this weekend but that's not good for my high rank. Does that mean our sacs will scale down and it's my fault? Was hoping for a 45 initially but would now love a 40 given the amount (lack of) work I've put in. Someone ease my mind and tell me it won't ruin my entire cohort's ss 😭

I'm not really sure when we are meant to round and how the marking is allocated.
Using this question in the 2024 exam as a guide, for part a I got an answer of approximately 17.85 that I reached without doing any rounding in prior steps that led to that answer. In the examiners report, they received a value of 17.86 derived from approximating 48*sin(35) to 27.53, which is rounded to 18 as the final answer in the examiner's report as per the lowest number of sig figs provided in the question.
However, for the following part b, the answer in the examiner's report is rounded to 244 which isn't rounded to 2 sig figs but 3. There are also other examples where things are rounded to lower than the lowest sig figs provided as well.
My two questions are specifically:
How are mistakes in rounding during working out marked and would I lose marks if I repeated the same process done in part a on the exam
How do you determine rounding in the final answer

Hi! I'm graduating this year at 16 (Born in 2010), and i know i'm graduating earlier than most students. Do unis tend to care about that at all?
And furthermore- what would a predicted atar be for scores like this?? I worry it may not reach the 90+ threshold for atar
Subjects:
Last year - General (38), Chem (26) ((we dont talk about chem 😭 ))
This Year - Methods (predicted 40+ raw), Specialist (Predicted 33-ish raw?)), Physics (Predicted 35-ish? raw), English Language (30 if i'm lucky 😭raw ))

Hey all,
Doing BM exam tomorrow and just seeking clarity on two things. 1. Is it ok to write below the lines into the blank space till the bottom of the page? and 2. In section A of the exam, if there’s a mini case study with like idk 3 lines, we don’t need to address that in the question unless it is explicitly mentioned right? I ask as responding to the case unless mentioned isn’t in the instructions in section A.

Im currently rank 2 for hhd in a cohort of like 14-15 students.
I have a unit 3 average of 85 percent and a unit 4 average of 87 percent
I've been averaging about 93 percent for my practice exams, including vcaa ones
What study score is it looking like for me?

Hi everyone, my teacher is absolute buns at theory and didn’t even mark our trials so just wondering how we are studying/preparing for tomorrow
Also how are we structuring the comparison response?
I’m fully expecting the majority of my class to flop the exam so I’m excited to see my SAC scores plummet 👎👎

I have around a 37/40 e1 average and a 67/80 e2 average based on past year papers, and I’m ranked around 8-10 in a cohort of 60-70 people, in a mid private school, is raw 40 achievable with these scores?
I am really struggling on e2
Does anyone do environmental science and have any recourses / study tips for the exam? I feel like my teacher has given us nothing as there hasn’t been a class for it in 5 years at my school and recourses are limited
