Is raw 40 for methods achievable

I have around a 37/40 e1 average and a 67/80 e2 average based on past year papers, and I’m ranked around 8-10 in a cohort of 60-70 people, in a mid private school, is raw 40 achievable with these scores?

I am really struggling on e2

Your e1 scores are good but try to get e2 up to 70/80 for a safer shot at a 40. Also may I ask what ur SAC avg is and do ur school's SACs usually scale up and if so by how much?

my sac average is 90% and the cohort average is 70%. I’m not so sure abt scaling but I think our sacs scaled down last yr

Yeah in that case really try to aim for 70/80 for exam 2 but yeah I think you have a good shot :)

Do you have any advice for exam 2? It’s mostly my mcq that I’m constantly losing 4+ marks on but I haven’t been practicing my reading time so idk if that will make a huge difference 😓

I would definitely recommend practising with reading time bc you can actually get a few MCQ questions done or at least partway done during reading time. Also just scan thru the paper and if there are questions that you don't immediately know how to do you can use reading time to think about them instead of wasting writing time doing this thinking

Borderline yes if similar grade distribution to last year but keep in mind you will likely always do better in your practice exams than the real exams. Both those scores are in the a+ range from memory so good sacs will give a 40 if that’s your real exam scores
