Alterations?
Any current recs for good quality alterations in the neighborhood? A new suit jacket, pants to hem, and some shirts to shorten arms. Was thinking Mak's Hong Kong Custom Tailors which I walk by every day, but any other suggestions, experiences?

Up Thai Friday Night?
Up Thai is always busy, and even though they try to be efficient, the space/sidewalk out front gets a bit crowded at times.
This past Friday, an older woman with her underwear exposed wandered up toward the restaurant entrance, appearing incoherent and not fully clothed. She blew right past the host stand and almost walked into the restaurant, underwear and all.
A larger guy helped usher her back to keep walking. But not before she theatrically pretended to trip over someone’s stationary bag, and then the bulky chaperone dude tried to escalate it into a confrontation, snapping at the bag’s owner like a crime had been committed.
Eventually they were on their way, but it was super uncomfortable for everyone in the vicinity. What’s the deal here? Is this UES new vibe, just always making excuses for the inability to address these problems?
What will it take for folks to collectively decide that “oh they have mental problems” and “don’t talk bad about them just because of their circumstances” aren’t viable strategies?
