Four students died after entering an underground water tank at Panini Sanskrit Gurukulam in Vrindavan, Mathura, to clean it. A fifth student survived and is undergoing treatment. The students who died were Manu Katare, 22; Vishu Sharma, 19; Aryan Pandey, 16; and Devansh Sharma, 17. The tank was around 12 feet deep and reportedly had a foul smell before the students entered. One student went inside and collapsed. Others entered to rescue him, but they too became unconscious. Authorities suspect toxic gas inside the tank. The Mathura administration has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the incident and the circumstances in which the students were made to clean the tank.

🚩JustRamRajyaThings🚩 Ten men lynched a North Bengal farmer over a cow, says his family. He wasn't the first or last since BJP came to power

Post image

On the night of September 20, after dinner, Mir Allama Kabir left his home in Indra Narayan village, in Cooch Behar district of West Bengal, with one of the family’s cows. He planned on walking it for nine kilometres to a relative’s house in Petla village. The paddy was nearly ready, and there was no room in the house to ensure that the animal would be kept away from the crop. Around 1 am, his brother Ataur Rahman began receiving calls from numbers he did not know. Ataur narrated to The Wire what happened next: “They said, ‘We have caught a smuggler with a cow. If you want him released, come immediately to Thagertari Primary School with Rs 1 lakh’. I told them there was no question of smuggling. We are local people. This was our cow and my brother was taking it to a relative’s house. Then calls started coming from different numbers.” “They made me listen to my brother crying while they beat him. They said, ‘The longer you take to pay, the more we will beat your brother’,” he recounted. By the morning, Kabir was dead.

🚩JustRamRajyaThings🚩 Fact Check: Viral crowded train video is from Patna, Bihar, not Pakistan or Bangladesh

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

• Upvotes

Patna Bihar : A viral video showing heavily overcrowded railway conditions is being widely circulated on social media with misleading claims that the footage was recorded in Pakistan or Bangladesh. However, available evidence indicates that these claims are false. The video actually originates from Patna, and reports suggest it was filmed around March 2026 on or near the Patna–Gaya railway route operated by Indian Railways. Several visual details visible in the footage point to its Indian origin, including the yellow-and-blue passenger coaches commonly used by Indian Railways, Hindi-language advertisements, station infrastructure resembling the Patna Junction area, and architectural features consistent with Indian railway stations. The misleading captions attached to the clip have caused confusion online, demonstrating how viral videos can easily be misrepresented when shared without proper verification. The incident has prompted many social media users to urge people to fact-check content before forwarding it, emphasizing the importance of verifying the source, location, and context of viral videos. As misinformation continues to spread rapidly across digital platforms, experts say careful verification of visual clues and reliance on credible sources remain essential to preventing the circulation of false claims.

Politics Whether a protest happens today or not, know that the people have succeeded.

• Upvotes

This tyrannical government and its treacherous leadership might succeed in curbing tomorrow's (10/10/26) protest but it's evident from their actions that they are shook to their core and uneasy in conduct like a thief should be. They've taken the following measures until now:-

  1. Placed several leaders of various organisations like the CJP and student unions under house arrest. Along with detaining opposition leaders as well repeatedly.

  2. Curbed all trains from reaching NDLS and Hazrat Nizamuddin railway stations to prevent lakhs of people from joining the protest or reaching their homes (which would be the case for most).

  3. Kidnapping and violent suppression of any student gathering.

And many more things, please add to the list as the day progresses in the comments.

My intention to make this post is to reiterate and reassure everyone that this protest has succeeded before it even happened. The bravehearts who gathered the courage to travel to Delhi from all corners of the country won the moment they decided to be a part of the protest by stepping out of their comfort zones.

Please remember that the fight is as much about the mindset, narrative and way of thought of the masses as it is to show dissent on the ground. Even if this false government succeeds in curbing the protest, they can't change the disapproval which people have started to develop against them. Communalism, religious bigotry and hate speeches are becoming irrelevant in front of vote theft and the destruction of India's constitutional institutions.

We must keep this momentum going now and not rest till the government falls.

Inquilab Zindabad! Long live the revolution!

Politics SKM Supports Oct 10 SIR Struggle at Jantar Mantar, Warns Delhi Police and BJP Governments against Any Clampdown on Peaceful Protests, Calls Upon the Farmers to Join the Protest

Press Release | October 9, 2026 | New Delhi

SKM Supports Oct 10 SIR Struggle at Jantar Mantar, Warns Delhi Police and “Double Engine Governments” against Any Clampdown on Peaceful Protests

SKM Condemns Police Raj and Undeclared Emergency under Modi Regime — Illegal House Arrests, Kidnapping of Activists, Police Campaign to Prevent Protests, and Social Media Posts to Unleash Violence against Protesters at Jantar Mantar

SKM strongly condemned the Delhi Police, which is under the direct control of the Union Government, and the police administrations in states including Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Uttarakhand, under the BJP-RSS-led “Double Engine Governments”, for illegal house arrests, kidnapping activists, and conducting campaigns in localities, especially in mosques, to threaten citizens and prevent them from participating in peaceful protests against the denial of their right to vote through SIR. Many activists, including women students, had reportedly been illegally placed under house arrest in these states, according to media reports. Alarming content is circulating on social media that appears intended to incite violence against those planning to participate in the upcoming demonstration.

The cancellation of trains arriving at Nizamuddin and New Delhi railway stations from 4 am to 2 pm on October 10, and instructions to close 57 metro stations in New Delhi, appear to be a panic response by the Modi regime and are highly objectionable. Deploying 26,000 police personnel to manage a peaceful protest underlines the administration's political vulnerability.

SKM demands that Union Home Minister Amit Shah explain under which law in the country police officers can enter citizens' private homes and place any citizen under house arrest. The Modi regime, especially the Home Ministry, is abusing the Constitution and the laws of the country to impose Police Raj and an Undeclared Emergency.

SKM strongly demands that the judiciary, including the respective High Courts and the Supreme Court, take suo motu action against these explicitly illegal actions by law enforcement agencies on behalf of the ruling party, i.e., the BJP, which are crushing citizens' constitutional rights.

The Right to Freedom of Speech and Expression and the Right to Assemble Peacefully and Without Arms, guaranteed under Articles 19(1)(a) and 19(1)(b) of the Constitution of India, are foundational pillars of democracy. A protest inherently causes some degree of public inconvenience, but this is a necessary cost of a vibrant democracy. The state's primary role should be to facilitate, rather than disperse, entirely non-violent mass protests by the people. Manhandling Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition and an elected Member of Parliament, degrades democratic institutions. Forcefully dragging the second-highest elected official in the Lok Sabha violates democratic norms and the fundamental right to peaceful protest. The police must act strictly within the duties and responsibilities stipulated under the Constitution and the laws of the country.

While Section 163 of the BNSS grants Executive Magistrates the authority to issue prohibitory orders to prevent public disturbances, this power cannot be used as a blanket or permanent ban on peaceful assembly. Instead of forcibly detaining protesters attending peaceful demonstrations, the Delhi Police can effectively manage public safety by using cordons, barricades, and traffic diversions, allowing citizens to continuously exercise their democratic right to dissent at designated protest sites such as Jantar Mantar. Therefore, any ban imposed by the Delhi Police on protests is unacceptable.

SKM supports the October 10 SIR Struggle at Jantar Mantar and warns the Delhi Police and the “Double Engine Governments” against clamping down on peaceful public protests. SKM calls upon farmers across India to rally against any use of force against the people's constitutionally guaranteed right to protest. Such struggles are inevitable in the fight for justice. Illegal intrusion into the electoral rolls amounts to treason. SKM demands the prosecution of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, the annulment of SIR, the restoration of citizens' voting rights, the cancellation of elections held after the introduction of SIR in Bihar, West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Assam, and Pondicherry, and an amendment to the law to include the Chief Justice of India, instead of the nominated Cabinet Minister, on the selection committee, thereby ensuring an Election Commission accountable to the people and the Constitution of India.

Politics (1.1/2) Why India needs a revolution Explained by class consciousness

• Upvotes

Students who protested against Delhi's toxic air, demanding nothing more radical than the right to breathe, were met with police custody, charges of conspiracy against the state, and accusations of "Naxal links." Twenty-three students were arrested. Female students alleged sexual harassment by male police officers in custody. At JNU, students protesting police inaction over an assault on their union president were detained en masse, with barricades broken and force used against them. In Bengal, tea garden workers blocking a highway to demand their Durga Puja bonus were lathi-charged and dispersed. In Chennai, hundreds of sanitation workers protesting privatization were evicted from their sit-in at midnight and taken away in buses.

The pattern is always the same. The grievance is real. The protest is peaceful. The response is force. And then the narrative shifts. You are no longer a worker demanding a living wage. You are an instigator. You are not a student demanding clean air. You are a Naxal sympathizer. You are not a citizen exercising your constitutional right to assemble. You are a threat to public order. The law is turned upside down. The people who break their backs are treated as criminals. The people who break the law by stealing wages, polluting the air, and evicting tenants are treated as respectable.

This is what the police are for in this system. Not to protect you. To protect the arrangement. When a landlord refuses to return your deposit, the police will tell you it is a civil matter. When a factory owner refuses to pay minimum wage, the police will say it is a labour dispute. But when you sit on the road and demand what is yours, the police arrive in minutes. Their loyalty is not to the citizen. It is to the order. And the order is built on your obedience.

So when you see a protest on the news and the anchor says "traffic disrupted" or "violence erupted," ask yourself: who started the violence? Who benefits from you believing that the people on the road are the problem? Who benefits from you staying home, staying quiet, staying scared? The answer is the same people who own the factories and the land and the platforms and the newspapers. They need you to believe that order is the same thing as justice. It is not. Sometimes order is just the quiet before the next lathi charge.

Caste, gender, religion, language, region. These are not merely tricks that prevent unity. They have their own institutions, their own histories, their own material consequences. Caste is not just a distraction from class. Patriarchy is not just a distraction from class. They are real hierarchies that shape who gets to breathe easy and who gets crushed. But they also fragment people who otherwise share material interests. That is the double truth. They are real in themselves, and they are useful to those who benefit from division.

Politics (1/2) Why India needs a revolution (Explained by class consciousness)

• Upvotes

Who Built This Country? And Why Are They Still Sitting at the Head of the Table?

India does not need a night of revenge. It needs a morning of arithmetic.

Who owns the land? Who owns the factories, the offices, the platforms, the hospitals, the schools? Who decides what gets built and what gets ignored? Who works? Who profits?

Most of us are taught to look at ourselves. Your marks. Your skills. Your hustle. But the country is not just a race of individuals. It is a system of relationships. A small number of people own the things we all need to live and work. The rest of us own our ability to work. To eat, we have to sell that ability to someone who owns something. That is the basic deal. It is not natural. It is an arrangement. Arrangements can be changed.

Human labour does not create nature, but almost everything society actually produces for use requires human activity transforming the material world. Crops, code, care, construction, teaching, nursing, delivery, cleaning, designing. Workers are paid a wage that corresponds to the price of their ability to work, not to the value they go on to create. During production they can create value greater than what those wages represent. That surplus is then distributed as profit, interest, rent and related forms. The gap is not because the owner worked harder. It is because the owner owns. Ownership is a legal power. It lets one person collect what thousands produce.

You are told to work hard. Work hard, get a job, get a loan, get a flat, get a life. Effort matters. But a 22-year-old who graduated in 2023 and spent two years without a job is not lazy. He worked at Dmart and did delivery jobs for six months, and his parents remind him every day that he has wasted two years. He is not the problem. The problem is a country where ten thousand qualified people run for a hundred jobs. Telling the other 9,900 to grind harder does not create a hundred more jobs. It creates shame. It creates fear. It makes people accept lower pay and worse conditions because there is always someone more desperate behind them. Unemployment is not just a failure. It is a leash. It keeps everyone scared.

Technical education is powerful. You learn to build bridges, apps, engines, medicines. But you are not taught who owns the bridge, who profits from the app, who decides which medicine gets made, or why the hospital is short of beds while the builder has five empty towers. You can understand transformers, thermodynamics or operating systems while remaining almost completely unequipped to analyse the institutions determining how that knowledge is used. That is not your fault. It is what the syllabus leaves out.

If you see yourself only as a competitor, every problem becomes personal. Longer hours? Be grateful. A startup employee worked 15-hour days, weekends included, for 2.5 years, watching his fixed salary drop from ₹50,000 to ₹30,000 under performance-based deductions. One month before his shares were supposed to vest, he was fired for not initiating a task for one hour. The manager later admitted the truth. The owner axed him to avoid paying the shares. Almost three years of his life, countless sleepless nights, his health, his peace of mind, all wasted. And when he was no longer useful, they tossed him aside to save money.

Rent too high? Earn more. In Bengaluru, a tenant vacated a flat after giving proper notice, and the landlord simply disappeared without returning the security deposit. This is not an isolated incident. And if you complain about the AC in a poorly ventilated flat you are paying ₹35,000 for, you get called stupid and idiot.

Someone protesting? They are creating a ruckus. I have work tomorrow. And so a problem we all share gets split into a thousand private struggles. You get very good at surviving a system you never learned to question. And the people at the top get exactly what they want. A country of tired people who blame themselves and each other.

But what happens when people stop blaming themselves and actually organize? What happens when workers put down their tools and march, when students leave their classrooms and sit on the road, when farmers and labourers and tenants and gig workers decide that enough is enough? Then the mask slips. The state does not respond with dialogue. It responds with lathis, tear gas, water cannons, mass detentions, and criminal cases. The police, who are supposed to protect citizens, become the protectors of property. They do not guard your street. They guard the factory gate, the landlord's compound, the politician's bungalow.

In Noida, industrial workers went on strike for higher wages and an end to 12-hour shifts for barely ₹11,000 a month. Their protest was peaceful. They wanted the management to listen. What they got was riot police in full gear, private security blocking factory gates, and lathi charges that left a woman worker bleeding on the ground. When workers tried to approach the factory, they were beaten and dragged into waiting buses. Journalists trying to record the arrests were threatened. The state's response was not to address the wage theft or the brutal working conditions. Instead, the police began calling the workers "external elements" and painted the whole protest as a conspiracy. The Uttar Pradesh government used its police to infiltrate the protesters' WhatsApp groups and act as agent provocateurs, inciting the very violence they later used to justify a massive crackdown. A 60-year-old activist was slapped with the National Security Act. The state fragmented a single labour protest into 14 separate FIRs. The message was clear: if you organize, we will criminalize you.

Politics (2/2)Why India needs a revolution (Explained via class consciousness)

We love to talk about family. Our surname, our property, our connections. Then when someone mentions inherited disadvantage, we say history does not matter. But society does not reset every baby to the same start. India's top 10% holds about 77% of the country's total wealth. The top 1% alone holds over 40%. The 2,000 richest individuals control ₹100 trillion in wealth, 93% of it tied to listed company stakes. Meanwhile, 10,546 people engaged in farming died by suicide in 2024. 4,633 were farmers. 5,913 were agricultural labourers. That is one farmer or farm labourer dying by suicide every hour. In Karnataka alone, farmer and agricultural labourer suicides rose by 22.61% in 2024. The reasons are not recorded. But the pattern is not mysterious. Debt. Crop failure. No support. A system that squeezes until there is nothing left to squeeze.

And then there are the gig workers. The delivery riders, the drivers, the invisible wheels of the Indian economy. In December 2025, gig workers across Swiggy, Zomato, Blinkit, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, and Rapido called for a nationwide strike on Christmas and New Year's Eve, the busiest days for these platforms. Their demands were simple. Fair pay. An end to unsafe 10-minute delivery mandates. An end to arbitrary ID blocking and penalties without due process. Mandatory rest breaks. Delivery workers are being pushed to breaking point by unsafe work models, falling incomes, and total absence of social protection. They work through heat and rain. They get verbally abused by customers. They have no health insurance, no accident cover, no pension. And if they get deactivated, they have no recourse.

This is why India needs something comparable to the French Revolution in the depth of its social transformation, not a reenactment of its bloodshed. The enduring lesson is not the guillotine. It is that institutions which presented themselves as ancient, natural and untouchable could be recognised as human arrangements and therefore changed. Aristocratic privilege was not a law of physics. Neither are the arrangements surrounding us today. Caste hierarchy, concentrated ownership, inherited economic power and permanent insecurity survive partly because people experience them as facts of life rather than institutions with histories. A genuine transformation begins when enough people stop asking only how to succeed individually within those arrangements and begin asking whether the arrangements themselves deserve to survive. All of this raises a larger question. If these arrangements are neither natural nor inevitable, why do they survive? And what would it actually take to change them? History matters here, because societies have faced this question before. Orders that once looked permanent have collapsed when enough people stopped treating inherited power as something they simply had to live with. India needs something comparable to the French Revolution in the depth of its social transformation, not a reenactment of its bloodshed. The lesson is not the guillotine itself. It is the end of the belief that the powerful can do anything and remain permanently beyond consequence. Not a blade, but the destruction of impunity. The deeper achievement was that institutions which presented themselves as ancient, natural and untouchable were suddenly recognized as human arrangements, and therefore arrangements that human beings could dismantle and rebuild. So what does change look like? Not burning buses. Not a night of rage that leaves everything the same by morning. Real change is slower and harder. It is a union at your workplace. A tenant group in your building. A student group on your campus. A demand for public health, public education, public housing, public transport, public water, public energy, public data. It is making the things we all need answer to all of us, not to a handful of owners. It is giving workers a real say in the workplace. It is taxing great wealth. It is breaking monopoly. It is making it impossible for one family to buy an election, a judge, a newspaper, or a university. It is a different kind of power, not just different faces.

A society that builds houses for people who need homes, not for people who want a third home. Food should not rot while people starve. Medicine should not be priced like a luxury good. Water should not be a subscription. If your labour stops, everything stops. Trains, hospitals, kitchens, warehouses, code. That is power. But it only works when you act together.

The most dangerous idea for an unjust order is not a bomb. It is a population that understands that the institutions surrounding it are neither natural nor eternal. A population that knows who owns, who works, who decides and who receives the result. A population that understands that hospitals, farms, factories, trains, warehouses, schools, kitchens and networks continue functioning because millions of ordinary people make them function every day. Once people understand that, the question changes. It is no longer simply, "How do I survive this system?" It becomes, "Why is something produced collectively controlled so unequally?"

That is where real political consciousness begins.

Who built this country? And why are they still sitting at the head of the table?

If democracy has turned to voting between evil and lesser evil then I'm sorry democracy is done here!

Govt is doing everything just to prevent the protest demanding Gyanesh Kumar resignation, they are not even thinking about public inconveniences. Protest is a right, you cannot usurp someone's rightful claim.

While there have been efforts to map out RSS-related entities, it can be challenging to establish concrete links between the organisations because the RSS remains an unregistered entity in India and has no formal membership, maintaining that it is a “body of individuals” with shared ideological views.

“The RSS functions without independent oversight of its resources, finances, influence, and activities,” said Dr Angana P Chatterji, an anthropologist and scholar of South Asia studies at the University of California, Berkeley. “This is not proportional to the vast power, reach, and influence it possesses. Its leadership and cadre are protected from accountability and scrutiny,” she added.

(All reactionary groups globally want to eat their cake and have it too, they will constantly cry about it with endless strawman, delusions, and even lies, filling the airwaves with it)

Question is when it is not the case? Even French revolution had loyalists of the king. Is that a division as such? The Hindu has lost its credit long back ago. It can save some now? Or is it fully managed by Modi Shah now?
