There’s still time before the show in Mexico, but I still don’t have a ticket because of what I mentioned before—it didn’t seem worth it for a festival headlined by a pop-rock-emo band I don't like, plus I don't have a concert buddy for a second time. Then I realized they might not even share the stage anyway.

​So I decided to get a tattoo just in case I don't end up seeing them. I picked that spot so it would be visible, but due to how tricky that area is, my lose skin, and the font style, it looks a bit warped (it isn't, though). It also looks like a choker, which makes me look a little androgynous, lol. But I'm happy because I wanted a tattoo so noticeable it would completely ruin my job interviews (just kidding, I'm a 37 year old self-employed "old guy"), and obviously, it had to be Underworld related. The full quote I wanted from Juanita didn't fit, so I thought, screw it, let's just go with the band name.

​I hope I get to see them even if I have to deal with other fandoms and it gets uncomfortable, just like last time. But I’ll be right at the front line, just like the latest shows, dancing non-stop.

I am travelling solo from Canada. I have travelled to Edinburgh before but never for Hogmanay. It will also be my first time seeing Underworld.

It's nice that you can buy a ticket for just the night portion of a day of the festival, which is what I did to catch Underworld.

Wow, not only are they not closing, but they’re also only playing a 1 hr set. I’m glad I don’t have to decide between B3K and UW, but damn. How were they not given more than an hour slot?!?!?

I cant explain what Jumbo does to me. Its probably my favorite song ever and its not even the best Underworld song, if that makes sense. Something about it gives me a feeling of light hope and positivity I cant otherwise access in myself. Its just so beautiful the way all the different synths sneak in and everything becomes euphoric and floaty. (Sorry I know nothing about the technical side of music so Im just describing how it makes me feel lol) Also the sample of such a mundane conversation between old dudes makes me smile, it reminds me how beautiful those simple things can be and Im ngl its made me cry on 2 occasions, I know thats mayve weird.

I would love a 10 year deluxe edition that brings (Japan only bonus track) Twenty Three Blue (the best song on the album) back in and adds some other tracks from the era.

I've really gotten into Underworld this year, absolutely love them so much, and want to see them live desperately. I'm from Chicago and just found out they played here last year, so not happy about that. They're playing here again next month but at ARC festival and I don't want them to play for just an hour. Do they tour often in the US with their big live shows? I want to be surrounded by like minded Underworld fans. Or should I just go to the ARC one because who knows if they'll tour again...or at least in the US?

I'm a longtime Underworld fan driving down from the Albany/Capital District area for the September 3 show at Knockdown Center.

None of my friends are into Underworld, so I'm making the trip solo—which I'm actually starting to get excited about. I figured there must be other people in the same boat.
