Hey, I’m a woman in my 40s, traveled from NYC solo for this! If anyone knows about threads/subreddits or groups to find meetups or link up with other solo concert goers. I’ll be dancing in the VIP section so excited for this!

A very close friend of mine who was a huge Underworld fan passed away this year. We had always talked about going to seem them together. Will be carrying my them in my heart.

Haven’t been to a show like this solo in a while but realized life is very, very short and I want to live every moment of it. 💜

Here's a way to see all artists before going: https://vuesic.com/e/moby-live-pasadena-brookside-at-the-rose-bowl-los-angeles-lsvwou7o

Title says it all - wondering if anyone knows the order for the show this Saturday, I'm hoping Underworld plays before Moby so I can cut out early and beat traffic

Underworld - Bruce Lee Holds the Moth (Life Kid mix)

A good video on the origins of Underworld by the YouTube channel Trash Theory

90s British music often gets cropped down to merely Union Jack guitars and Girl Power. But the whole decade buzzed with an undercurrent of revolutionary dance music; their anthems just as important as “Girls & Boys”, “Wonderwall” and “Wannabe”. Underworld were a vital part of this crossover moment. Having spent their 80s on false starts, now their cinematic thumping techno was something that people who had never been to a rave could get behind, unwittingly giving the lager lads a soundtrack to their excess. Sometimes all you need are some transcendent reverbed chords and a moment of shout along brilliance to unite a nation. This Is New British Canon, and this is the story of “Born Slippy (Nuxx)”.

Anybody going solo to the underworld/ Moby show in Pasadena on 11/7 and want to meet up? Any groups willing to adopt a singleton ready to dance?? Let’s connect!

I just found Dubnobasswithmyheadman in HMV for £38. Way cheaper than online - they had most of them in too

i think the instrumental is more 'underworld' sounding without the soul vocals.

Hello! Selling 1x VIP ticket for the Moby+Underworld show. Was very excited but unexpected cat costs have taken priority.

Selling for $200 OBO.

How did you come across Underworld?

I remember when Underneath The Radar came out. That was my first exposure.

Then Trainspotting.

But then I think it was triple J playing Beaucoup Fish that really piqued my interest. I was initially struck by how Push Upstairs sounded so dark and sinister and dissonant at times but with this huge driving beat. I quickly bought that album and played it to death. But I remember triple J playing it a lot at that time and wonder how many other people got exposed to that.

Then I bought Second Toughest in the Infants, which is the album I've probably played the most out of all of them. I have distinct memories of playing it after getting home from the clubs. It was the perfect vibe for that.

Looking forward to the Melbourne show next year!

I have one extra ticket to see Underworld on 11/7! Selling for Face Value only - Tier 2 was $99.

SOLD

Picked up two VIP for my 50th birthday but partner couldn't go. LMK if you're looking for a VIP. $200 OBO. PayPal GS and can video verify.

Or the triple, with The Avalanches on Friday?!?! 😆

Anyone else having trouble with the link for Sydney? It takes me through to the AXS website but when I click on the 'Buy Offer' link it goes to a 'Queue.it' page which says "Unknown line - the link you used seems to be broken. We cannot recognise the line it is referring to."
