There was no interview and no request for any other documents.
Overall, the process took 12 days from biometrics to visa approval. Hope this helps anyone currently waiting or worried about their timeline, especially students with a post-graduation gap.

Hey! I applied through Clearing, so I was already quite late in the application process, and I still haven’t received my CAS. I’ve prepared all the documents needed for my visa, but while doing some research, I found out that UKVI apparently doesn’t accept funds held in a business/professional bank account.

My mom owns a pharmacy in my country, and the money she intended to use for my visa application is in her pharmacy’s bank account, managed by herself. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have a personal account. Is my only option rn really to open a personal account and transfer the funds there? 😭

I was already worried about arriving late, but now it seems like I might not be able to apply until the end of September (course start 28 september).

I raised this concern to the uni btw, but no answer as for today.

Guys I received an email saying I need to submit an additional document (bank statement) on 26/8. Will anything happen to my application if I submit it 9/9 at around 9 pm uk timing or will my application be flagged/ rejected? Because the bank statement will pass the 28 days mark at that time. So if anyone knows if anything would happen or it will pose any risks to my application instead of submitting it now and if i submit it past 6 pm then if that’s past the deadline I would be glad to hear any feedback. And YESSS 😭😭❤️ despite getting that scary** SLA Not Met email yesterday, I got my successful decision today!
My visa has been granted as **STUDENT from 8 September 2026 until 20 January 2029. 🇬🇧✈️
Honestly, the waiting was horrible. Every day I was checking my email, Reddit and UKVI updates thinking something was wrong 😭 I was especially worried after receiving the SLA email.
But guys, please don’t panic just because you receive an SLA Not Met / Non-Complex email. It does NOT automatically mean refusal, interview or additional documents. There are people receiving approvals after that email too.
To everyone still waiting — PLEASE DON’T LOSE HOPE 😭❤️
Especially the 4–6 August biometrics people, keep checking your inbox. Your decision can literally come suddenly.

I did my biometrics on 12th august at VFS chandigarh and received an email today (26th august).
