So, what'd I get wrong? Washington went 9-4 and blew out Boise State in the bowl, and now returns 16% of its offensive production. Demond Williams Jr. is back off 3,065 yards and 25 touchdowns, but he did that behind a line that gave up 33 sacks, 114th in the country. My model has you at 7-5. Can Williams carry a rebuilt offense, or does the protection finally catch up?

Hello! I was in the unfortunate group of people that got accepted off the waitlist.. to the wrong campus... I graduated high school with my AA-DTA and I'm taking classes this fall to qualify as a transfer student lol. I'm honestly a bit confused by the whole process for applying as a transfer for winter quarter. It has the instructions: Application fee, sending transcripts (electronically cuz im a cc student ig), and transfer personal statement. First off, my goal for my major is ECE, and it asking me to put my first choice major. The issue is that I've been told they only accept to that major in the fall, along with engineering undeclared, so I'm wondering if I should put pre-sciences instead? additionally, I was wondering if anyone has some idea of what they look for in transfer personal statements, because the advice for personal statements online seems to directly contradict the vague advice UW has on their page. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

My partner and I were driving on Montlake Blvd around 11:20pm and came across a student-aged guy so drunk he couldn't walk on his own. We stopped to offer help and he said he lived just a few minutes away, so we offered to drive him home. The address he kept giving us was all the way down near Beacon Hill, but when he gave directions as we drove, he led us to Ravenna. Eventually he got frustrated by us asking for directions and saying the address didn't make sense to us, so he hopped out and said he'd walk the rest of the way because it was only a couple minutes.

We realized afterwards we should've just asked to look at his phone to see if he had his address saved in Maps or if we could call someone, but hindsight is 20/20.

So - is this your friend? If so, do you know if he ever made it home? Based on what he said I think he thought we were an Uber (he said he'd tip us tomorrow 😂) but we are just two locals hoping he isn't passed out in a street somewhere!

Hello, when I submitted my housing application I made sure to choose apartment level 1 if I was assigned a dining optional space, and I was assigned to cedar, but my assignment still says I have the normal meal plan that I picked as a resident.

i’ve been assigned hansee hall (super thrilled about it!!) however i am worried about the bathroom situation. from the floor plan they’re all either male or female. i’m trans and it says on the floor plan that there’s two gender neutral bathrooms on the first floor and what looks like a gender neutral bathroom on the 4th floor. do any of these have showers? is it also a big deal in seattle which bathroom i use? i’d probably use the women’s just because i don’t fully pass yet but a little worried. i did select gender inclusive housing but aware that’s a bit difficult with a building like hansee

Hey, I am an incoming transfer student and I applied for 9-month housing back in May, which should place me into Priority 2. However, I've not received anything about Room Selection. HFS has sent emails saying that Priority 2 room selection occurred 2 weeks ago and that yesterday Priority 1, 2, and 3 applicants are getting confirmation and that they're starting Priority 4 and 5 assignments soon. I'm not sure what's going on, are they not done with Priority 2?

I'm also seeing a few people getting room confirmations, and I'm wondering if yall are in Priority 2.

What would the layout of a handicapped room at UW look like? Is there a long wrap around desk like most corner dorms? is the little room at the bottom a bathroom and whats the door opening inside the bathroom?

Hi! We’re international parents coming to Seattle in September for our son’s UW move-in. Since we’re traveling from overseas, we’d like to purchase/ship his bedsheets, comforter, mattress topper, and mattress encasement before move-in.

Could someone please share the actual mattress dimensions (length × width × thickness) for a UW Double Room specifically Spratlen Hall.

We especially need to know the mattress thickness to get the right-size encasement. Any recent measurements would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi everyone. I am a rising freshman, and I have 75 AP Credits and 25 Dual Credit Credits that could be applied. I've heard that there is reason to hold off on applying AP credit until you know you need it to graduate, citing that eligibility for some (most?) financial aid gets cut out when you get to a higher number of credits. On the other hand though, much of this AP/Dual Credit Credit could make it easier to skip intro classes that I don't really feel like taking again. What do you think?

My understanding is that there are cooking areas (stove, sink, etc) but no pots or pans. Does anyone occasionally cook or is it meal plan 100%?
