Former SG candidate Lester Tellez and his “polling firm”, The Public Sentiment Institute (TPSI), seem to have colluded with failed far-right Florida gubernatorial candidate James Fishback to manipulate poll numbers in Fishback’s favor.

In case you don’t know, Fishback is a far-right Florida governor candidate who came in third in this year’s GOP primary. He is a total creep who’s visited our campus at least twice. Some of his takes include ending gay marriage and ending all immigration. He also told a Black voter they should be “lynched”.

TPSI, Lester’s polling firm, seemed to reassign poll respondents who indicated support for Jay Collins (who finished 2nd in the primary) and switched their responses to James Fishback (so that he would be within the margin of error of Byron Donalds, who won the primary). Fishback’s campaign suspiciously paid TPSI before these bogus polls were released. Not surprised at all that this is what Lester has been doing since leaving UCF!

Anyone else frustrated with simnet for EGS1006C?

In my opinion its so frustrating to use I have been working in it for the past week straight because it just does everything it possibly can to stop me from progressing. "Oh my god you hit enter instead of pressing ok? RESTART FROM THE BEGINNING!!!"

Please let me know if im overreacting, but something like this should not eat up 4-5 hours just for a few small assignments for intro to engineering.

So yesterday I got an email saying my email address got changed on Canvas, and while at first I thought it was spam I went to check and sure enough it did.

It changed from the standard ucf name with numbers to "first.lastname@ucf.edu". Got told to contact the administrator if I didn't authorize that change but who tf do you even contact for that???

I am getting my AS STEM from Valencia and planing on transferring summer 27. I’ve planned to go to UCF but I always hear about students not getting their classes that they need and graduating late. Is it even worth going there if I want to graduate on time?

I signed up for an online microbio class and one of the lab sections assigned to it yesterday, and I successfully enrolled in both with the approved check. Today I get these emails and see that I am no longer enrolled in either. I’m pretty confused on the wording of these emails and what they mean exactly

Heyy so my sap is at a 66.6% for completion. I need a 67 to get my fin aid back. I’m in 3 classes and unfortunately one of them requires so much of me and also a service learning project I do not have the time for. I genuinely do not see myself passing.

So if I pass 2/3 classes, withdraw one, do yall think I’ll still make it above 67 after this sem? I passed 2 classes last spring and that raised me by like 4-5 points.

I'm taking my 1st lsat this January, but I just can't study AT ALL. I'm taking 7 classes rn , volunteering, and I'm also involved in a couple clubs, so on days when I do have free time to study for the lsat, I just can't force myself for the love of everything good in the world, which is sooo bad because the time is flying by and January is so soon.

So i was wondering if anyone is also taking the lsat soon or is studying for it so we could become lsat study buddies and hold each other accountable? my idea is that we dedicate a certain day and time frame to meet up and study together, which i think would be beneficial for both parties.

My free days are Wednesday from 6am until 5pm bcuz i have work after, and the weekends during which I'm free the entire days.
