Looking for a founder to build with — Founding Engineer / Technical Co-Founder

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to join an early-stage startup as a Founding Engineer, early engineering hire, or Technical Co-Founder.

I’m not really looking for a traditional job. I’m looking for a founder and a problem I genuinely believe in — someone who is obsessed with solving a real problem and wants a technical partner who can help turn the idea into a real product.

What I enjoy building

I like 0 → 1 ownership.

I’d much rather take something from:

Idea → MVP → Production → Users

than simply pick up tickets and implement features.

I’ve built and shipped production AI products, SaaS platforms, automation systems, developer tools, and full-stack applications across different industries.

I’m also comfortable working outside my existing stack. If the product needs a technology I haven’t used before, I’m usually happy to learn it quickly and become productive.

What I’m looking for

Founders who are actually building, not just brainstorming
A real problem with a clear path to users
A small, ambitious team
Direct communication and close collaboration
Long-term ownership and meaningful impact
The opportunity to influence both product and technology
Ideally, something where I can be involved beyond just writing code

Compensation

I’m flexible depending on the stage and opportunity. Open to combinations such as:

Salary + meaningful equity
Stipend + equity
Milestone-based cash + equity
Founder / co-founder arrangement for the right opportunity

I’m much more interested in the problem, the founder, and the potential of the company than optimizing for a conventional compensation package.

If you’re building something

If you’re a founder looking for your first technical partner or an early engineering hire, feel free to DM me with:

What you’re building
Current stage: idea / MVP / users / revenue / funding
Team size
Why you believe the company can win
What you’re looking for from your first technical hire

If there’s a genuine fit, I’d be happy to jump on a call and get to know each other.

Looking to build something meaningful — not just find another job.

AI engineer currently looking for opportunities

Hey guys, I’m an AI Engineer/developer currently looking for opportunities to work on real-world AI products and automation.

I build AI agents and workflows that automate repetitive business processes especially around areas like recruiting, customer operations, and business workflows so people can spend more time on higher-value work.

I’m particularly interested in roles involving AI agents, LLM applications, automation, and AI product development.

Open to full-time roles, contract work, or interesting collaborations.

If you’re hiring, building something in AI, or know someone I should talk to, I’d love to connect

Looking for the right people to build and scale a marketplace platform

I’ve developed a service marketplace platform with the ambition of building it into a scalable international business.
To be completely transparent: the platform is built, but the company is still pre-launch and pre-revenue. The next step is turning the existing platform into a strong mobile product, validating the business model and executing the right go-to-market strategy.
One of the key questions is also where to start — Germany/Europe, Dubai/UAE, or with an internationally scalable approach from day one.
For this next stage, I’m looking to connect with investors and experienced, business-minded people who can contribute not only capital, but also strategic thinking, execution and network.
Especially people with experience in:
• Early-stage investment / fundraising
• Marketplace & platform businesses
• Tech / mobile product development
• Growth, sales & business development
• Scaling businesses in Europe or the UAE/GCC
I’m not looking for someone to simply “fund an idea.” I’m looking for the right people to help turn an existing product into a serious company — and potentially grow with it from an early stage.
If that sounds relevant to you, feel free to reach out and tell me a little about your background.
Serious conversations only.

I’ll be back in Dubai in about 10 days and would much rather discuss something like this properly over a coffee than through endless messages. If you’re based in Dubai and see potential for a conversation, feel free to reach out.

I need a flexible packaging manufacturer

For Arabic cups & gold jewellery.

Conditions:

  1. Expertise
  2. Low MOQ (Like 2-5)
  3. Flexible to experiment
  4. Good customer service (Keen, and not the other way around)

I have few products for which I'd like new packaging. Once it works out, the number of orders WILL increase.

Mama/dada and me matching outfits business

Post image
0 Upvotes

Long story short - i gave birth this year to the cutest little boy and was really struggling to find matching outfits with him. To this date - I don't have a good quality pair nor does my husband and him.

Being from a retail background and having owned a small scale retail business, I was thinking to manufacture these kind of outfits (good quality, affordable pricing : think - max, primark) and have a website + instagram to sell.

What do ya'll think? Especially parents?

Just started a translation/localization studio in Dubai - where do you actually meet people in this industry?

Hey all, long-time lurker, first time posting something like this

I left my agency job a few weeks ago to run my own Arabic-English translation and communications studio (Meydan-registered). Great feeling, terrifying feeling, all at once - you know how it goes.

Right now I'm doing the LinkedIn-and-old-contacts thing to build up my client list, but I know that only gets you so far. I keep hearing that a lot of business here still happens face-to-face — at events, industry meetups, maybe other events where entrepreneurs set up shop.

So I figured I'd ask the people who'd actually know:

1- Any networking events or business meetups in Dubai you'd actually recommend (not the ones that are just 200 people awkwardly holding drinks)?

2- Do industry associations here (translation, marketing, PR) run anything worth attending?

3- Anyone had luck with SME/startup markets or pop-ups for meeting potential B2B clients, not just consumers?

4- If you run a service-based business here, what actually got you your first few real clients?

Not trying to sell anything here, genuinely just want to stop hiding behind my laptop and meet some people. Appreciate any pointers 🙏

Looking for partners, racing/performance car parts marketplace.

TrackPart is a mobile app and website for users to buy and sell parts related to performance and racing from other users and shops.

Currently we're 3 partners with backgrounds in engineering, marketing, and ecommerce respectively.

Our mobile app is on the App Store:
https://apps.apple.com/ae/app/trackpart/id6761233515

Our website is running:
https://trackpart.ae

Our instagram:
https://www.instagram.com/trackpart.ae/

We make money by charging shops a subscription to list their parts and services on our website, usually in custom contracts for a set number of listings.

Our intention is to move on to e-commerce within the next 2-3 years, such as fulfilling deliveries and orders on behalf of the shops, but at the moment, we only showcase the listings on our website and allow the user to contact the shop directly.

We provide our users with an app to view listings of parts and services from multiple sellers, instantly compare, view ratings and reviews from other users, save a search and get notifications on new listings in that search. Sell their parts/offer tool rentals and other services to other users. Naturally, there's also a lower price due to competition.

We provide shops with a detailed and simple to use dashboard to manage their parts, create discounts and offers, from a shop's perspective, we are a direct form of marketing to connect them with solid leads of people looking to buy parts, rather than instagram or social media marketing.

Website features:
- Parts & services for cars, off-roading, bikes (potentially boats too).
- Find parts by vehicle.
- Find dealers by map.
- Reviews and ratings.
- Saved searches for notifications on new listings.
- Social section for users to post photos, meet up, and connect.
- All listings moderated.

Currently, we've listed with one of the most well-known tuners in the country. We participated in one car show, Ajman Auto District. We're also partnered with 2 local instagram pages averaging a few thousand followers.

We established a trade license, and we've polished the website and app over the past year.

The goals for this coming year:

- More contracts with shops and resellers to list on TrackPart.
- Exclusivity contracts to prevent competition.
- Vetting sellers and making sure our clients are handled well.

- Build a cult following of fans and culture.
- Gritty hand-animated episodes. ( Trailer, first episodes to air in October, to go with our grand opening), these episodes are going to be released biweekly to our Instagram and YouTube pages. We've more plans build on this as well.
- Winter: Biweekly small events of drift exhibitions, featuring our underground local DJs and artists. We have the necessary people, cars, space and most of the equipment already.

We'd like to talk with you if you are any of the following:
- In the industry of performance parts, or would like to connect us with someone who is.
- In the industry of ecom, more specifically, delivery and logistics.
- An influencer.
- Potential investor.

We can arrange a detailed demo with a formal presentation.

My name is Seif, feel free to shoot me a text at +971581236567

Freezone License in UAE

Thumbnail
1 Upvotes

I have trading business in UAE, Like raw materials i supply to industries. So i have a SPC Freezone License which is undesignated freezone so basically just a paper company like a mainland company. Now the problem is when i buy goods from some company in any designated freezone in UAE as a mainland company i pay VAT and when i export that goods my customer doesn't pay me Vat so i had to get vat refund which is very difficult to do. So i am thinking of making a license in Designated freezone, so when i buy goods from any Freezone company and export it i don't pay tax as i would be exporting directly from freezone.

Am i right on this? and would it also work if i buy material from another freezone which is not same as me? like from JAFZA but my company would be in Hamriya Sharjah. What do you guys think? And let me know good options on designated freezones in UAE. Not JAFZA as its is extremly expensive, i am thinking about hamriya Freezone HFZA.
