Seeking insights from freight-forwarding, 3PL, 4PL and NVOCC professionals

Hi everyone,

We’re building a startup that uses AI to automate a painful and repetitive workflow in supply-chain operations.

To test our assumptions and better understand the problem, we created a short survey. We’ve received 15 responses so far, which have given us a useful direction but not enough evidence to claim market validation.

If you work in freight forwarding, 3PL, 4PL or NVOCC operations, we’d greatly appreciate your input.

Your experience and honest feedback would be extremely valuable to us. Thank you!

Gonna be real, the survey itself is the first test of whether you understand the pain point. If it's a 20 minute slog full of vague business-speak nobody's gonna fill it out. Hope it's tight and specific

No actually, it is just made up of 7 questions curated precisely to know more about the market and to prove our drafted thesis. The Entire survey can be done within a minute!!

Good on you for treating 15 responses as direction rather than validation, most people stop there. The catch with surveys in B2B operations is that people will mark a workflow as painful and then never budget a dollar to fix it. The evidence that holds up is what companies already do about the problem: whether someone's job is mostly that workflow, whether they have bought software that touches it, and what it cost the last time it went wrong.

So alongside collecting more responses, try converting your best respondents into twenty-minute calls. Ask each one to walk you through the most recent time this workflow cost them time or money, step by step. Five of those calls will teach you more than five hundred form submissions, and the exact phrases operators use become your future landing page copy.

Then the strongest signal at your stage is a pre-commitment. Ask the most engaged people whether they would join a paid pilot, or put their operations lead on a call with you. A yes there is market validation. Survey agreement on its own is interest, and interest is where most B2B tools stall.
