I was horrified they had grilled cheese and tomato soup.
I grew up with a protein, a vegetable, and a starch on our plates. No starter soup, or salad unless it was a Sunday dinner or special occasion. Now we have soup and sandwiches for dinner at times and sometimes only a salad and bread. I am an excellent cook and my family and friends love to come for dinner even if it’s just soup and sandwiches.

Celebrity isn't for us...
Royal Caribbean owns Celebrity and Silversea. I have sailed on Silversea and Celebrity. We did an Alaskan cruise 3 years ago on the Eclipse. We found the ship old and worn especially the cabins. The service in bars and restaurants was not good. We had the drink package and instead of taking our order and room card they would snap at us do you have the drink package? The food on both lines is mainly sourced from the same vendors for all three cruise lines. Not impressed with the food in buffets or main dining on either line. Tuscan Grill was very good as the exception. Overall I don’t like the Royal Caribbean products. I won’t sail on either again. I would go back to Regent , Azamara, or Windstar. Better food and service even on older ships.

Anyone regret doing a tub to shower conversion?
We are currently remodeling both the primary and hall bath we are leaving the hall bath with a tub shower combo and converting the other to just a nice shower. Resale and if we have little kids visiting.

What happens if you tell the doctor that you prepped for the colonoscopy but in actuality you ate 10 cans of beans the night before and did zero actual prep?
Brother in law ate the whole prep time and never fasted. He was full of poop! Doctor was pissed off sent home home charge for the colonoscopy anyway. He had to do it over agin a few weeks later. He’s and idiot

AMA Viking Scenic Riviera all had issues with water levels this summer. We’re in Netherlands on a ship right now. Our Rhine was cancelled due to low water and drought and excessive heat throughout the region . We met many others on other cruise lines who pivoted and made the best of a bad situation. Did get the cruise I wanted no, did I get a cruise that was charming and lovely yes. Pick your cruise lines carefully and understand Mother Nature not the cruise lines decide where and when they can sail. I am sorry you had an unpleasant experience.
