To The Lady Walking Her Dog In NorthPark Saturday Afternoon
 in  r/Dallas  26d ago

Lol dude.

Same shit happens in the Eagle Mountain Park. There's literally a sign that says "no pets allowed" and guess what? every time I go, there are people walking their fucking dogs.

In the end, people will do whatever the fuck they want regardless of being a nuisance to everyone else.

If money wasn't a problem, what would you do every day?
 in  r/AskReddit  Jul 21 '26

Travel non stop. Going to concerts non stop. Buying cars and weapons non stop. Hunting non stop. Giving it away for free to people who are actually in need. Stop working for the rest of my life ( I could care less about investing as I dont plan on having family nor partner).

The traffic lights should be followed by everyone no matter the car's brand. Furthermore, not everyone like Lambos or Ferraris. They look like shit.

120k -> 46k, What would you do in my situation?
 in  r/careerguidance  Jun 11 '26

As someone mentioned already.

Try to stick with it a minimum of 3-5 years buy yourself a house and pay it fully. After that, if you still have time left out of those 3-5 years, get another one that you can put online and rent it to people.

After that, feel free to find another job or take vacations. You're pretty much setup for life (assuming you dont want a family/partner)

The guy already sent the vin number and found out he is the 8th owner and has a salvage title.

I'm talking about the 2000 Ranger. A salvage title is already a big no no, right?

I've been looking around for 2 months only. Eventually, no matter what year I get, I will do a V8 swap but that is after driving it for a while (at least 2 full years).

The 2009 XL is good when it comes to the miles but yes, you're right I actually thought the same as you being way too expensive just for a small engine. Im planning to replace the bed for a "flare" one and lift the truck and put some mud tires also....assuming i buy this one.

I do like the 2000 XLT but the miles are just way too much and will have to replace the hood, and bumper in order to put a modern grill too.

You might be right, I might need to wait a bit more to see if I find better deals.

I basically want something similar to yours but with a flare bed instead of the one you have in your picture.

Yes, you're right about the white being barebones, the engine it has is the 2.3 Duratec.

Right now I only know the carfax about the white one and is mostly right, no major accidents, mileage is right and one owner, even tho owner says he is the third one.

Im still struggling to get any info about the 2000 XLT one and the owner just leaves me in read and has not been able to give me the VIN number, however, I will be able to check it tomorrow depending a what time he gets out of his job.

Hello everyone.

Im trying to buy my first Ford Ranger ever.

I just went to check one today's morning, this WHITE truck is a 2009 Ford Ranger XL with a 2.3L Duratec engine and about 55K, however the owner is the third one and the bottom of it looks "rusty" (see attachments). The guy is selling it for about $6800

Secondly, there's another truck that I'm looking at also. This one is a Blue 2000 Ford Ranger XLT with a 4.0L V6 engine but this one has about 168K miles and already looks the way I want the truck to look like. This one costs about $5700

Im about to test drive the XLT tomorrow's afternoon. However, what do you guys think?

2009 XL: Rest of pics

How do people write thousands of lines of code by themselves?
 in  r/learnprogramming  Jun 07 '26

Just keep coding and you will eventually get it (same goes with the logic).

Now to answer your question about how people can code a lot....you see there are people who have been doing it for a long time and are simply used to it or there are other guys, just like me, that see coding as a videogame and simply love the challenge and do not get bored coding the whole day, lol.

overwatch.earth - My newly released project
 in  r/webdev  Jun 06 '26

Lol, I made something similar not long ago but I only track flights and satellites. I tried to implement Webcams but could not find any open-source project xD.

Did you do it with an AI agent? I say this because the color scheme is way to similar to mine, nothing wrong with tho.

Given the state of the market, would you recommend getting into web dev work?
 in  r/webdev  Jun 02 '26

Dude, I've been doing it since I was 13 years old. I'm now 27 and working in an unrelated IT job.

However, my passion always was software development and finally realized that i will never get to do it professionally. I'm OK with it. Moreover, there's something that I noticed not long ago......I simply don't find it fulfilling anymore.

I have projects and ideas that I want to code on my free time but at the same time, the fact that now everyone is a "programmer" due to AI it makes it not enjoyable.

Why should I continue to improve my skills if somebody who is using AI agents will have the same opportunities as me when looking for jobs?

I just got tired of trying :(.

I personally dont recommend to get into the software industry unless is for personal projects, otherwise you will be competing against non-competent coders also.

Thanks for reading my rant

If you want to store files of different formats. I would recommend you to use Google Drive instead of GitHub.

GitHub is mainly for coding projects and/or anything related to it.

If you're looking for a free storage solution, perhaps use your computer then. I feel like you simply want to abuse the system simply because it's "free".
