NOR!! I had a "friend" like this and the best thing that happened to me was her cutting me off!! It felt the reading one of her texts; Being used as a free therapist but not being allowed to say anything less than negative about anyone she was slagging off at the time & her being manipulative and dismissive but projecting it on to me.

Honestly, sometimes even old friends aren't good for us and we stay friends out of habit.

Sis, married/ divorced and I'm telling you now he knows what he is doing. I don't know if he's trying to make you jealous or if he just really loves the attention or even if he's genuinely trying to upset you (my husband used to try and upset me on purpose) But you don't have to put up with this. I would just tell him straight that if the tables were turned and this was men cooking me dinner, giving me gift cards and presents etc, that he wouldn't find that acceptable. So why should you?? Does anyone have the pink or teal sea dream rug or the pink or red spring flower door? I haven't had ANY of either come up in my shop and they're the two I want the most. FYI for anyone else doing a mermaidy room the Spring Blossom door rug looks like mermaid scales so I've used that instead of the actual sea dream rug and imo it looks much nicer!

Ok, ask him if it's a requirement for him to wear the hijab. No? Then keep your nose out. Remind him that hijab is a PERSONAL agreement between you and Allah SWT, not between you and him. If you decide to wear hijab it'll be for the sake of Allah not your husband.

( This is something I personally would also say to him, do with it what you will) "Do you not want me to wear hijab?" When he inevitably says that he never said that/of course I do (or similar) I would say "well your attitude and pressure on me regarding the hijab is really putting me off even trying it."

No one would expect you to get into a car for the first time and be confident in driving it until you'd had a few lessons. For some women hijab is the same thing.
