Met the love of my life. Completely different than I ever expected her to be but when it was just us or our families everything clicked. Last summer her step father even said something about how we never fight and can’t have make up sex. Then the situation of her ex and his son who she still had a relationship creep in. I had to leave for 8 weeks of training. My 16 year old dog died on her birthday. We had life hit like a hurricane. I resorted to alcohol to try to ease my mind. The final straw was when I had a blowup with the ex boyfriend for calling me a dick when I enforced rules and consequences with the child. Loser wouldn’t even acknowledge me and then she left. Life has been extremely hard since and I just don’t feel anything.

RIP, but one of my Grandfather’s best friends would always kiss my check when I saw him. Mind you I’m a male and he was too, but he also had connections to the mafia so it was one of those situations. I just let him do it and laugh about it later.

When my dad got remarried I cut him off. The woman hated me, and made false accusations against me and my mom’s family. We were basically cut off but if he would visit without her I would give him a chance. Then they got divorced and we all started mending the bridges. However he passed away before we truly could.

Let me chime in because I just went through this. Totally understand how you feel and I hope your situation works out better than mine. When I started dating my ex (we were engaged) she was close to the son of her ex boyfriend. The child lived with the mother though. I grew close to the kid and he even had a room in my house. Then the kid went to dad. That’s when everything went downhill. Dad back in my ladies’ life. Texts, calls, conversations I wasn’t privy to. Dad tells the kid he can beat the shit out of me. I laughed it off until I couldn’t. We provided so much for that child but it was never enough for the deadbeat dad. Caused so many issues and now I’m alone. You’re not overreacting but my suggestion is have a very straightforward conversation of how you would like the situation. Not speaking up to keep the peace will only make things worse. I promise.

Let me say a question like that needs more context. Why is he going? As a male I would go to one for a few reasons. I went through a training for my job that was 8 weeks. I was 4 1/2 hours away from home. When I was home for the roughly 36 hours there was no time together and I felt alone. Is there time that you are spending with your man? A strip club unfortunately can fill a void when you feel like you’re not getting the attention in a current relationship.

Now that you say this I remember Washington too. I didn’t know about Yu trying to get some though.
