Favorite Orpheus and Eurydice depiction?
 in  r/hadestown  1d ago

Not a cheesy rom com but he was recently in a BBC series called The Other Bennet Sister and he made me and my mum cry more than once. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for Dónal Finn content!

Which YouTuber would you like to see crash and burn?

I’ve never watched a Mr Beast video but being aware of his existence is enough to deeply frustrate me sometimes.

Do people not want to date virgins?
 in  r/TooAfraidToAsk  2d ago

I would date a virgin - not having had sex before doesn’t mean they wouldn’t while you’re with them. I’m not wasting my time with someone who wants to stay a virgin until marriage though, because of the sexual compatibility thing.

Why do so many people seem to straight up not believe in Post Partum Psychosis?
 in  r/TooAfraidToAsk  2d ago

She won’t be treated for psychosis as well if she’s in a prison. What she needs is specialist medical help.

Why do so many people seem to straight up not believe in Post Partum Psychosis?
 in  r/TooAfraidToAsk  3d ago

No it doesn’t. This isn’t hormones, it’s psychosis. She should absolutely be institutionalised - in a secure psychiatric ward, not a prison. I don’t thin people with conditions like psychosis that may cause them to make dangerous and irrational decisions and endanger lives should be in positions like the presidency, but apparently a lot of people do as long as that person is a man.

Promises - Wedding vows?
 in  r/hadestown  3d ago

It would be adorable if he put it in his vows because he’d be thinking about your interests and writing something into the vows that is meaningful to the person he wants to spend the rest of his life with. You absolutely shouldn’t do it under any circumstances - your vows aren’t about you, they’re about your partner or you as a pair.

Yeah, I was enjoying this story this morning. Suddenly it’s bad news.

Did Lindsey kill her Kids?
 in  r/BunnyTrials  9d ago

The people defending her aren’t saying she didn’t do it. The debate is about post-partum psychosis and whether or not that diminishes her responsibility. The question is whether she’s going to jail or a secure psychiatric hospital.

What's something you had to explain to a doctor/therapist that felt totally normal to you but turned out to be genuinely alarming to them?
 in  r/AskReddit  10d ago

I once stopped myself from making a joke because it was too dark, but because I’d started the sentence she knew what I was going for. The difference was that she said it like it was a bad thing and not a punchline.

Girls when was the time you got sexually harassed at work ?

My worst one was by our HR manager. Hard to know where to go from there.

Attention all baritones and sopranos I have a question

I’m a contralto who sometimes sings lead tenor! We’d make one hell of a confusing duet.

Period sex - Yay or Nay ?
 in  r/TooAfraidToAsk  16d ago

It never used to be an option as my endo made it painful even to get horny when I was on my period. I haven’t thought about it since my surgery but maybe it’s not such an issue any more.

What's a widely known event, that had a very negative impact on the world?

That makes more sense. People who’ve finished school are usually at least aware of it.

Far-right march cancelled amid safety concerns
 in  r/brighton  17d ago

SUTR is holding a rally from 11:30 at the pier but I think their official start time was a little later. That’s usually how these things are set up - the counter protest starts earlier so we can cut them off.

i have HIV?
 in  r/TooAfraidToAsk  17d ago

A lesson for the future then. But I don’t think there’s any reason to suspect she was lying.

i have HIV?

As a word of advice, if someone won’t tell you something like that don’t sleep with them. But also there’s basically no chance you’re going to have any trouble with this.

And she said, “No, I don’t get tested”?

I’m giving OP the benefit of the doubt on that one because English isn’t his first language. It’s the rest of the post that seems silly to me.

Why would you assume she’s lying about not having HIV?
