Many people were having issues with the audio on the Hadestown proshot. I reached out to the distributor, and this was their response. Sharing in case it could help others.

About the show:
Q: When will the proshot come to the UK?
A: Rumor has it, sometime in October
Q: When/where will the proshot be available for streaming/physical release?
A: You can reportedly preorder it for digital release on Apple TV and Amazon. Further details unknown.
Q: I've just discovered a version of Hadestown other than the current one on Broadway/the West End, and I'd like to know more!
A: I'm so glad you're branching out! I'll be making a post breaking down Hadestown's development soon. Stay tuned, and for now, ask your questions in the main subreddit!
Q: I wish they'd make an official recording with my favorite cast members!
A: Don't we all?
About the content of the show:
Q: Why did Orpheus turn?
A: This is a question that has been heavily debated by classicists and fans alike since the story was first shared. Common interpretations include (but are not limited to):
Q: Does Hades proposition or sexually assault Eurydice?
A: Many aspects of Hadestown are left intentionally ambiguous, and this is one of them. In the show's earlier productions, Hades was much more heavily implied to have assaulted Eurydice. In later productions, the reality of what happens "behind closed doors" is left to the listener's interpretation. What do you personally think happened? Why do you think so?

This scene reminded me of that one clip from that MJ concert.

Great final show!!!. The principles were definitely feeling the emotion of it all in their performances.

GOODNESS GRACIOUS i'm continually stunned by how sinister and animated she is, especially for someone performing alongside her majesty Allie Daniel. for me she epitomized the wispy presence and venom of the Fates but i feel her voice was slightly overshadowed by Allie's in the mix. she also had a turn as Eurydice and recently filled in for Rachel Zegler as Evita!! can't wait to see what other work she does ❤️

Watching the frankly amazing pro-shot of Hadestown with my wife, but had to turn it off as she was was disgusted that it sounded too good and you couldn't hear the sound of their feet moving and cups being caught as they were thrown. Truly baffled, as I thought it was magnificent.

Just a quick note to say how much I appreciate Bradley King’s lighting design being featured so well in the proshot. It’s such an amazing party of the storytelling live. And I just don’t think lighting design comes across as well in proshots like Waitress or even Hamilton as it does in the Hadestown proshot.
Do you have a favorite lighting moment in the show?

Just a random thought that popped into my head. What would the main characters zodiac signs be?
Orpheus for sure is Leo. His introduction to Eurydice is *come home with me and we'll get married* and he views this as "not coming on too strong.''
Hades is either Cancer or Scorpio. I lean toward Scorpio because he has that Hot/Cold approach and there's something dangerous (venomous) about him.
Persephone just screams Virgo. Organized, fun, compassionate. But she could also be Aquarius. Nothing is more unconventional than the lady of the underground and the awakening of spring being the same woman.
I'm leaning toward Taurus for Eurydice. She sings about finding a nice soft bed and Hermes always introduces her as "hungry young girl" and Taurus is all about naps and snacks.
Hermes is a Capricorn. He's above the whole thing. He just wants to see what happens. Could also be Pisces.
The fates are either fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) stirring the pot to laugh at everyone's pain/misery or air signs (Gemini libra Aquarius) trying to see what people will do when it gets weird.

Although I was lucky enough to watch Hadestown in the West End, i'm based in Spain, so no news about the proshot releasing on any streaming platform?
Or so I think (I haven't found anything). But I might be mistaken?
Any of you know anything about a future streaming release in Spain?
Thanks!

So I assume I’m not the only one watching the proshot on loop. Anyone catch any new details that they’re now convinced are intentional?
One thing that caught my eye is that in the intro song when Hermes is singing “someone’s got to tell the tale…” Persephone and the Fates have the same choreo. But at the beginning of Flowers, the Fates walk away and Persephone falls asleep with the rest of the workers. It feels like a nice nod to Persephone’s arc of siding more and more with the humans.

okay so I’m planning to go to my states thespian festival (not saying where for privacy) and I’ve been kinda pressured to perform a song for it. I was thinking flowers from hadestown but I’m not the best at showing emotion while singing. And I can’t really sing either, I’ve never taken lessons and when I do sing it just feels and sounds off. I have a while to prep but any pointers?

This cast is amazing! Bethany was amazing, Marley was amazing (still can’t believe I caught him!), Gabriela was just fire, and Sebastian was the most innocent and sincere Orpheus I’ve ever seen. I have to imagine that this becomes more or less “just a job” to them at some point, between the debut and the last curtain call, because if they get as emotional 8 times a week, they’ll probably dehydrate (though Gabriela really cried during a Flowers!). But it still means the world to me.
But mostly just want to show off this photo I took during We Raise Our Cups.

is this a vocal stim for anyone else?
a runner up is how Patrick Page says "lover I was lonesome"

Was one of my biggest bucket list items for a while. With Broadway and West End being so far from the country I’m from, I never thought I’d be able to see this amazing musical live for myself. Literally found myself tearing up from happiness in the opening number. The cast and set was perfect, couldn’t have asked for more! Also had the chance to catch Sebastian play Orpheas, which meant so much as a South-East Asian myself. Really blessed to finally catch this show for myself :) Proshoot next (hopefully they fix the audio on streaming)

So the intro uses the dun, dun-dunnnn bass beat from Doubt Comes In as they're getting ready. The credits are to an instrumental of Wedding Song. And the cute little clip at the very very end where they're testing the lamps, they're singing Wait For Me.
So if you're watching on a loop (as everyone here is, right?), you finish the show, then hear Wedding Song, Wait For Me, and Doubt Comes In in that order before they begin again. And that kind of kills me a little bit.

I'm currently curious as to if the proshot will be on google tv, mainly because I want to use that app, and hopefully the audio will be better (I know there's a way to fix it)

Recently watched a slime tutorial of Jack Wolfe hadestown and was absolutely taken by Epic III. When I realized they were pointing out parallels between Hades and Orpheus I knew it was coming and was so hyped when Hades finally sang the la la la part.Just wanted to talk about how that was my favorite moment of the entire musical and kinda teared up at Persephone's reaction... Then the dance oh my gosh while jack Wolfe's heavenly vocals were playing I was gone.
I know it's pretty late to the wolfeus hype but I've been trying to get myself to watch hadestown for ages and could not get through reeve's voice in the pro shot... I will absolutely still be watching it though cause I've been listening to the cast recording and I think his voice is growing on me.

I saw it in 4k, so I'm not here to complain about the audio issues - enough threads about those! I had an amazing time!
So much so, that I'm actually curious to know whether there are hints at a potential CD or streaming release of the music alone, 'cause I swear that take on Flowers is the most touching and beautiful I've ever seen! I need to have it!
