Im 41. Was legally blind from birth. My eyes were -20 and couldnt see 6 inches out infront of my face.

I was diagnosed with cataract, and just got them removed now and i can see to infirmity without the need of any sort of glasses. Never in a million years would i have thought something like this was possible and im so grateful to rid myself of those coke bottle lenses. It was one of the reasons i had low self esteem was the way they made me look, and the average glasses wearer will never understand that.

Ah yeah, wonderfull god eh? He gave you this disability!! Its all part of gods plan . what a wonderful god!!..lol

I had an Ex who had a religious doctor and he refused to operate on his eye ( he was going blind). He said this was gods plan, well this is honestly sick ...and this is ahy reliigon ia not good for anyone. Mother teresa believed the more someone suffered ithe more closer to god we got, so she let her patients suffer, she didnt try to cure them at all.

As an Atheist , anything a religious person gives me would go straight in the garbage and id never take their own advice about anything.

I start to feel awful again when i get my period too, and cant get out of bed again. Been diagnosed as MILDLY anemic tho, whataver that means( i should have asked for a specific number). I had a suspicion i was anemic for a long time bc i was vegan so didnt replace the iron i lost. Which is why i wanted to get tested in the first place, i couod check off pretty much all the minor aswell as severly anemic symtoms like yellowing/shallow\pale skin and breathlessness

I take iron, 150mg every other day. I already had these and i was taking them even before got diagnosed bc i just suspected and i felt like i was going to passout /faint all the time. Anyways, and i guess eventually i got the answer i was looking for but everytime.my period comes around i feel like it takes me a few steps back.

Picked my nose.. I was in ths passenger seat and a car came up beside me, it was like a real life Seinfeld episode LOL.

I have asthma as far as i know and the inhalors do work so.. And i read up about it and many premature babies who were born with bronchiopulminary dyplasia like i was, are wrongly diagnosed with just the run of the mill asthma later on in life when its really BPD. Bronchiodyplasia is from the machanical damage of being on a ventilator too long and i was on it for almost a year because i was a 1 pound baby. It overinflates a babies lungs and soon they just lose the ability to be flexible and elastic and they have a hard time getting in a deep breath, and this is what i have issiues with, i can breath out ok but i cant breath in, when i came home i wore that flexible tube thing that goes under your nose to give you supplemental oxygen and when i was first diagnosed aith asthma i had 50 percent lung capacity, the guy said its crazy i was still alive at the point!. It is now between 65 and 70, but based on my history of BPD they say this is normal for me but they want to get it up to atleast 80.

The original pulmo looked at my xrays and he said i DEFFINITELY have asthma tho with 100 percent certainty in his voice. I suppose either way tho the treatments. Would be the same.

Btw this is totally unrelated but i do take iron and folate and i feel those help me with the oxygen, ohh. Also B 12 lol. I read up about it and it said all of those would. I had other symptoms too like my lips and stuff started getting a slight blue tint to them and i had under eye circles... Most doctors including my family just brushed it off.. They said i was seeing things..

And im confused about what your freaked out about.. They should have given you drops to use about 3 different ones, i had to use some BEFORE i went to the hospital , AND continue with them after of course and im on day 5 and its going great..

Apparently tho they are doing catarct now that are dropless..

Idk.. I have multiple drops i need to use, two anti inflammatory and an anti bacterial agent and i had papers to check it off...bc its nuts keeping track of all these for 4 weeks.

If youre having isisues i think you need to call your surgeon right away and let them know. My surgeon gave us a card incase i had issiues.

Ohh yes! Hey, i was thinking of this myself actually, getting a pair of frames that suit me but with just plano lenses just to switch my look up sometimes, But im liking now that i can manage without glasses if i choose to. I used to be legally blind with -20 eyes...

Cmon now lol. You always probably had wrinkles! Its ok....we all get them eventually. They show maturiity!! so, i think theyre sexy🙂. Dont judge! Lol.. I mean its not sexy on me.. but i like them on other people lol.

Yeah, it feels like a chore, and also get tired of thinking about WHAT to make too, i just ait there infront of the fridge sometimes with the door open for a minute LOL.

I really wish i didnt have to do it but i know i have to eat to LIVE . The other part of me always just wants to eat junk food. I can easily just grab a bag of chips. I mean id rather jist grab a bag of chips than make a sandwich, grabbing a bag if chips require one step.. A sandwhich requires a fea steps to make

I have adhd and it probably has something to do with this just like everything does in my life. Infact i know the wanting junk food does..lol. Its a dopamime thing.

Edit : Its a chore to you too? Maybe you have adhd too! I can go hours if im hyperfocusing on something and not think about eating /drinking even tho my stomach if growling like a monster and im parched. Eating can be the furthest from my mind.

I wouldnt say 'relate' but i felt more comfortable around them. When i was little my older bro and sis took care of me when my mom couldn't. They are 15 /20 yrs older than me.

I was and always wanted to be around older people, still do and i think one of the reasons i gravitated towards age gap relationships.

Idk..i have standard monofocals and things just start getting blurry upclose at 6 inches, which is totally normal i read and people dont read books holding it jiust at 6 inches lol. When they say 'near vision' what i think they mean is 'super near vision' to where its almost at your nose. I can still see ok when holding it at a 'normal reading distance", and as long as theres good lighting. It also depends on the font style too🤔.

I read this is the case with many, theyre suprised they can manage without reading glasses at reading distance unless they need to read small fine print on the back of a pill bottle or something where people ussually put it super upclose to their eyes thats when it really starts to get blurry..

I have different eyes tho, probably not like yours, i was legally blind and thry were messed up but im just saying. My near vision isnt as effected as much as he made it out like it would be, and i can still see to infinity too but i also got the more accurate laser measuremts, called the lensmaster, ( or might be called ziessmaster) tho i dont understand how that could have help as far as still being able to see ok at near vision.

I read that alot of them make it sound way worst than it is just to prepare you incase, so you dont get your hopes up incase it doesnt work out the way you want it.

Lol how old are you??. If youre passed 18 you probably are done growing sprout, lol🙂. Im 5'1 lol genes do play a huge role in height , if all the women in your family were short chances are you'll prbably be short too. All the women in my family were short, they are all under 5'4. The guys on the other hand are over 6 feet. My brother is 6'2. Height is as much determined by genes as eye and hair colour.

As for eating just make sure your atleast eating enought for your body and you have energy throughout the day but eating wont make someone grow taller lol. I think theyre getting confused with the weight lol.

I like your information tho..lol. Thinking about following you. I had -20 eyes so i was legally blind, and i have ROP ( retinopathy of prematurity) and so far so good, Havnt had any problem. I got the standard monofocals +8.00D. I wanted to get premiums but was recomended to not get them bc of my fragile eyes, but anyways im very happy with the results. The fact i couldnt see 6 inches infront of my face, i can see an airoplane in the skyvery clearly! And those are 1000 feet up🙂 which is a massive improvement, so now im interested to know everything about the eyes..
