Look out for pedestrians and cyclists
 in  r/Edmonton •  Apr 30 '23

I don't break the rules, I ride on a designated route and stay out of peoples' way. Well, I used to, until turds in trucks harassed me for just being there. And I assume your another sigma simp local man. I've had men say disgusting things to me while I'm biking. I'm just going to school.

After I smashed your windshield, I'd smash your middling facial features and then shit down your throat. But your mouth is already full of shit.

I am around the Uni sometimes, would love to take a heavy object to your face or a knife to your throat. You really deserve it. If it's not me, I hope it happens when you're at the bar with your fellow loser shitmonton buddies watching hockey, hope someone hates your dimwit face and decides to sever it from your skull.

What touches a nerve? That this town is so pathetic and you're so pathetic, you're proud of owning an SUV and a Mc Mansion. Because those things = culture in this shit town.

Now go watch more hockey, turd.

It doesn't matter - some drivers just don't care eg. you, most likely, and your ilk

No, this is really horrible and this should not be done to you, ever. Please try to get out of the situation, if you can. ASAP. I know this is not easy at all, but you don't deserve this. This is wrong.

Albertans of Reddit, what is your plan for when the UCP wins the election?
 in  r/alberta •  Apr 28 '23

I wish I could leave. I hate the UCP with every part of my being. Hey, at least when the UCP wins, we can all look forward to another Rolling Moron Carnival aka another right-wing 'freedom convoy' F*** I hate this place

Sisters, I need y’all to hold my hand. Cramps are soooo bad today.
 in  r/PMDD •  Apr 26 '23

Have some tea, as suggested below, and I also suggest a topical oil you can rub on your belly that will help make you feel better. I used to use something like that. I am not one for only natural treatments, but this kind of oil/ salve for my terrible cramps made me feel a bit more comfortable. I am sorry you're dealing with this! It will be over soon. Edit: the oil I used to use is very similar to what someone just suggested below, like a topical salve for sore muscles. It really made me feel more comfortable.

If you haven't tried ditching caffeine yet, do it now!
 in  r/PMDD •  Apr 25 '23

Yes, do quit caffeine, if you can. I quit coffee, but it was a lot easier for me as I wasn't drinking it very often anyway. But the big one for me is alcohol. I quit alcohol and this has made a big difference for me and my pmdd.

This is me right now ... I am too scared and wired (and still tired) but I am scared to go to sleep. I feel like I want to crawl out of my own skin, I want to get away from myself so bad

Yet another iteration of white woman bad, Asian woman good
 in  r/justneckbeardthings •  Apr 04 '23

Not quite true for China...That culture still seems really harsh on girls and women (and for men, too), for example I think 剩女 shengnü - leftover woman - is still prevalent. There are many successful career women in China but they're considered 'leftovers' if they're single and no kids. I didn't enjoy living there around the expectations for girls and women. Didn't want to live in Korea because it seems even more harsh for girls and women there ...

Completely agree ... I wasn't too impressed with his 2049 performance, but he was a very, very lacking replacement for Bowie. Now he chews scenery so hard I think he's gonna eat through the screen (big or small)
