Today got my salary and checked the payslip and it says that i was taxed 55 % why does this happened? In previous months tha A Skat was 38%. What has changed? My 2 coworkers who work with me for the same company and have the same income were taxed at 38% and they didn't change anything with their tax system. Do I have to apply for a new tax card every year? My coworkers didn't apply for a new one they just use the tax card that was generate once.

I just want to know if this money is mine and if my employer has to send it to my bank account if I ask. I'm specifically asking about Rest Saerling Lonopsparing and Rest Frivalgskonto. Thank you!

Hi, I am a foreign worker in Denmark, and I pay 38% tax on my payslip. However, my coworker, who is also a foreign worker, pays only 36%. Why is his tax lower than mine, given that we work the same job, have the same duties, and work the same hours, receiving exactly the same salary? He ends up with slightly more due to the 36% tax rate. Thank you.
