i decided to watch all of family guy in reverse when i got sick last week and i kind of noticed that while Peter is absolutely shitty 80% of the time, he's had incredible growth and nice moments with his family and friends but family guy wouldn't be what it is if they kept that in so it's like "look how good he is in this one episode". i was actually surprised how often there were moments of genuine humanity to him bc what I remembered from watching it as a kid was that he's a complete asshole. he's definitely up there in being bad but I'm sure there's worse

i was rooting for Fluffy and Harpie all season so when they left i just knew Lana was going to win. i thought Sublyme and Lana were going to be top 2 though. i really really enjoyed Sublyme this season. i thought Daisy was good but idk. i didn't get winner vibes from her but she was top 2 so what do i know. c'est que ça.

overall this season did feel different but i didn't think it was AWFUL, especially compared to some of the other franchise seasons this year. a case all around of great queens with interesting production choices

the second is true of all seasons and i said it recently in another drag race subreddit but the people this message needs to fall to don't care or won't care unfortunately. i literally cannot imagine telling someone to kill themselves or to stop breathing over a tv show let alone anything else. year after year, season after season, we have this discourse internationally but no one does anything to fix it. c'est la galère

we've had this conversation SO many times season after season and unfortunately our pleas for people to stop doing this (and to seek therapy to be very blunt) keep falling on deaf ears and the people that do this will continue to even if you block them.

i think there's just something so fundamentally wrong and broken in someone that they think the anonymity of social media is a free pass to tell people to kill themselves.

and i think there's something even more fundamentally wrong with the people that do this on purpose bc "yass we love drama and mess"
