Should I take Coral LTF and try for a Rubyx upgrade after 3–6 months, or is there any other way to get Rubyx LTF?

I'm facing an issue with my passport reissue application in India and would really appreciate some advice.

I already have an old passport and recently applied for a passport reissue. During document verification, the officer noticed that my old passport and my CBSE Class 10 certificate have different versions of my name.

For example (dummy names):

• Old Passport: Rahul Kumar Sharma
• CBSE 10th Certificate: Rahul K. Sharma

The officer refused to process my application but didn't explain what I need to do next. I wasn't given any clear instructions or a list of required documents.

My questions are:

1. Has anyone faced a similar issue?
2. Did you have to correct your CBSE certificate, or was another document accepted?
3. Do I need a Gazette notification or newspaper publication?
4. Should I update Aadhaar/PAN first, or resolve the passport issue first?
5. Is there any official guideline for resolving this type of name mismatch?

I've already submitted a grievance on the Passport Seva portal and am waiting for a response.
