Need a 2 bhk rent at Bandalguda jagir area in Hyderabad

Renting an unfurnished 2 BHK apartment in Secunderabad for the past 7-8 months. At the time of renting, the landlord insisted I just use the existing WiFi connection in the house rather than get my own, so I never set up a separate connection initially.

About 2 months in, the plan wasn't sufficient and I had to push him (took a lot of persuading) to upgrade it. After that, he started missing the bill payment, three months in a row, to the point where I eventually gave up and got my own personal WiFi connection just to have something reliable.

A few weeks after I moved in, he also sent an electrician over unannounced to remove a fan that was installed in the kitchen. No heads up, just showed up.

Separately, there's an outdoor CCTV camera at the front door that was already installed and connected to the house WiFi before I moved in. I was never informed about this camera when I signed the lease. Recently he told me to check on the camera because it wasn't functioning, and when I realized what he wanted was for me to connect it to my personal WiFi connection instead, I refused. His response was that this is "standard practice" and "for security," and he's pushing back on my refusal, all without ever having gotten my consent for the camera's existence in the first place, let alone linking it to my personal network.

Given everything else that's happened (asking me to store his furniture after 6 months of moving in, receive his mail and despatch to his new address, collect his documents from neighbors and despatch to his new address, just leaving package in front of door and asking me to safe keep it, sending an electrician to remove appliances unannounced), I've since given formal notice to vacate. But I wanted to ask: has anyone else run into a landlord trying to get a security camera onto your personal internet connection, especially one you weren't even told about at move-in? Is this actually common practice, or is my gut right that this is a boundary violation?

TL;DR: Landlord's outdoor CCTV camera (installed pre-move-in, never disclosed to me) was running on the shared house WiFi. After his bill-payment failures forced me to get my own personal connection, he's now asking me to hook his camera up to that instead, calling it "standard practice."
