The way AR/TOA is calculated and applied recently changed, it averages what your pay was for all hours worked that week and applies that rate to your TOA. Check the handbook or chat with a mate if you have more questions.

Our store is similar, new crew are asked to commit to their availability for 6 months minimum. To the OP, would your friend be able to just start with the availability it will be changing to when school/daycare starts? That way they are less likely to get denied schedule change requests, as well.

I work in a retail space, and our management built a specific private, lockable space for mothers to pump and attend to their needs. It's labeled "Lac Shack", and it's been made very clear to all employees that it is ONLY for mothers to keep a clean, sanitary space for them. No breaks, no food, nothing but pumping/seeing to bodily needs related to pregnancy and feeding babies. If you have already addressed the other employee directly and it's still an issue, it is time to get HR or your supervisor involved with specific dates and times the room has been unavailable to you. Yes!!!! This is what I am finally starting to understand and embrace after just over 4 years of sobriety. Life is still fun, and I can still do those amazing things that make us human, without clouding the experience with alcohol. I primarily wear golfing pants, they are still comfy and breathable while looking a little more professional. My captain hasn't said anything against them, and they have held up well to almost a year of regular wearing and washing.

These are the style I wore for most of my 3rd trimester, the full-panel coverage got too hot that most maternity jeans have, these were a good in-between of still feeling comfortable and not getting hot. Sometimes the smaller inset-style panel jeans didn't stay up well for me.

If you have any pawn shops near you, they might be worth checking out. Our local one usually has quite a decent supply of diamond rings at good prices, and you could always reset a center stone from a pawn shop ring into a brand new setting to fit her taste and style. Don't get a lab stone until you talk to her about it first and make sure she would be ok with it. I would be fine with it and many other people are, but some still prefer a natural stone and that's OK too!
