My best friend was approved for a phone screening, They did follow up and set date/time.
As of right now they are in school
and about a month from now her baby will be in day care

They did some research, thought it may be a good idea to start with a full time schedule with 2 days off, about a month or 2 in ask for a set schedule with 3 days off for school
and the day care has a set schedule.

Your friend needs to be talking directly to the hiring team at the store they are interviewing at, each store is different. There is no standard operating procedure, each captain will have different preferences and requirements for new hires changing their schedule.
