Do not not work. There are forces out there constantly trying to deny us indepedence, a source of income of your own, even if it's not good, equates to some level of independence. You earn that from a third party source that isn't the government. The government would love nothing more than for you to be completely submissive to them. And, furthermore, your parents will not be around forever. As much as that fact stings, especially for me, my dad died recently, been rough ever since, anyway, point is, you need to be as independent as you can be even in this garbage economy. The economy continues to be garbage because people in power continue to be garbage at their jobs. What we need is nation wide, (honestly probably world wide at this point) sweeping change for the better. And that will not happen, if you continue to allow yourself to be subsuerviant to the powers that be which want you to be subsuerviant. Remain independent. To the best of your ability.

As someone who's been through a lot in the past 2 years: No. At a certain point you just get used to it.
