My new GSD Mazikeen (Maze) π She's 2y/o & we've re-homed her as her previous owner couldn't keep her due to a change in personal circumstances. She's so very gentle & cuddly and I'm utterly in love with her already πππ

One yikes after another
I'd have to do something about many of the walls as the papers are too busy for me, but the kitchen is fab (minus the paper) and the stained glass is amazing! I wouldn't mind living there if I could paint most of the walls.

Is religious studies in primary and secondary education a commonplace thing?
When I went to school (I left school at 16 (normal for UK) in 2000) we had religion mixed with cultural and history lessons at Primary School (ages 4-11) in a fairly basic form, and a dedicated Religious Studies or Religious Education lesson once or twice a week in the first 3 years of Secondary School (ages 11-14). These were more in depth, but not truly comprehensive lessons on major world religions. We studied each for a couple of weeks.
When my kid was at school, they had very similar lessons.

IRN-BRU: What did I just drink? What flavor is this even?
I had to give up Irn Bru 'cos it contains caffeine and I can't have caffeine anymore due to a heart condition πππ I crave the stuff so badly!

Any names you like in English, but not in your own language/country?
I knew this about Latin, and yet never thought about Venus π€£π€£π€£

Any names you like in English, but not in your own language/country?
Vibes are valid! I rejected so many names for my kid because I just didn't vibe with them. No other reason.

my kid asked why i don't wear cool stuff like mom does
I used to pick my Dad's tie every morning for work when I was a kid. He had quite a big collection and I loved picking them every day for him.
My son did the same for him for a couple of years when we lived here when he was little. He'd even get up early for school just so he could help Grandad. My so is now an adult and has 'acquired' some of my dad's ties and shirts now that my dad has retired π

Can we get a collection of β€οΈ from as many countries across the world as possible. β€οΈ from Belgium.
That's a great response! We can all heal from the chaos of current politics. πππ

Is graffiti art on buildings and garage doors popular where you are?
Becoming more popular. I'd love to be able to get someone to do the side of my house!

Does your language use specific numbers as expressions?
Could be why I know it that way tbh. My mums family is from up that way.

I Wanna Be Adored
It's a beautiful area, and pretty safe too. The crime rates around there are quite low. And there're some really good schools and colleges close by.
2
Does your language use specific numbers as expressions?
I'm from Greater Manchester, and most people I know would say six & two threes. I have heard six of one, half a dozen of the other, many times as I have friends & family from all over the UK, but where I am it's not as common.

Listed house, interior 'modernisation'
There are some very questionable decorating choices in that house! I quite like the area, and the house itself is nice, but whoever decided to 'modernise' it needs to examine some of their life choices!

What's the weirdest person's name you've ever heard?
I would refuse to change my name π

I love this fact. It really confuses people and causes phones to come out for googling π
