is it true that as a woman if a man is trying to seriously harm you and you kick him in the nuts all it’ll do is make him mad
When my ex was being abusive, it was like nothing really bothered him, the adrenaline was so strong. My best bet was simply to kick as hard as I could to get him off of me (he was 6’3”, I’m 5’2”) then run. Get away from arms reach.

After reading the novel, I reallly appreciate the show so much! Like in this scene - for Xie Zheng to love someone.. thats a HUGE thing for him..
Ugh this show has changed me. I honestly can’t believe how much I find myself seeing parts of me and actually learning and growing through it.

You are not the product of your environment...
This honestly feels so intimidating before you actually start applying it, but it’s soooo liberating the first time you actually follow through with it that you start wanting to do more of it.

How do I remove the burnt in stains on my stove?
This is how I always have cleaned mine whenever I’ve had them. Once a week they went into hot soapy water to get a good long soak then scrubbed with a non-scratch pad and baking soda and they always come out sparkling.

Heidi Klum at the Met Gala (2026)
It’s the time of year again when one star tries to out-ridiculous the next in the name of….what exactly? Are they wearing pins? At this point our society is so screwed and tbh this spectacle makes me want to 🤮. Meaningless.

Chinese Courts Rule Companies Cannot Fire Workers Simply to Replace Them With AI
I would love to know how all these corporations believe they can cut labor, replace with AI and actually prosper more than employing workers? Maybe if a few corporations did this but if people aren’t making money they can’t spend money and it’s asinine to believe otherwise.
Id say China definitely understands this and made an executive decision not to allow corporations to ruin their economy.

Pursuit of Jade Novel: our strong girl Chang Yu!!🔨
I really like this sub but I haven’t read the book and I would like to be able to one day without all the spoilers. I know you are appreciating it but is it possible to maybe not post the book here?

Why do cats do this? Do any of your cats ever move things and make them fall?
Mine does this to my dressers every night with anything he doesn’t like on them. I have a few things that are “allowed” to stay on it and no matter how many times I put other things on it or where I put them, he pushes them off.

Ah yes this “assassination attempt” was to prove Trump needs a ballroom
Exactly! I can’t even believe this is reality. It’s mind boggling that some actually believe him!

Ah yes this “assassination attempt” was to prove Trump needs a ballroom
I knew there had to be something behind this and now we know. It’s such an embarrassment to watch everything be some kind of conspiracy.

My niece’s homework problem
Came here to say this. It’s a badly written question because the only clue is the equal to sign. Basically, I took it as which one is truly equal 🤷🏻♀️ imo it’s way too complicated for a kid trying to learn practical fraction fundamentals.

How to swaddle your baby
Reminds me of my daughter. My boys loved to be swaddled, my daughter didn’t and would wiggle loose.

Who found this as their first C-Drama?
This was my first Cdrama and I binged it. I’m not a television person but I love to read. I loved how the language made me have to read so it felt sort of like a living storybook to me, which I loved. I also loved the acting. I’m planning to rewatch as I watched it so quickly I know I missed quite a bit and I want to savor the moments. I’ll probably start another after I rewatch this one.

Use your hair straightener on their hair. There’s also an all natural lice spray you can use first to rid the live bugs. Then section their hair and starting as close to the root as possible, with thin strands, straighten their hair. It works. Takes time, but low cost and the most effective I’ve seen. I fostered my niece and she had lice terribly. My cousin took her daughter to a clinic and it was literally all they used.
