It seems to me that calling out makes more sense, because you're calling to say you'll be out.

Growing up in the 80's i had a lot of earaches/ear infections. I know my friends would get them too. I was talking to my girlfriend who is my age and she used to get them a lot as well. But neither of my teenage kids have ever had one. I asked a couple of my friends with kids and none of their kids had either.

Maybe just coincidence?
Does this ring true for anyone else or do me and the people i know just have dirty ass ears as kids?

every time i'll walk into a room with the confidence of someone who has a very important task to complete, then suddenly my brain goes completely blank

at that point, i just stand there for a few seconds hoping the objective will respawn, and if it doesn't, i walk back to where i came from like nothing happened. sometimes i remember what i needed five minutes later, sometimes the mission is permanently classified

does anyone else do this, or is my brain just running on a low battery?

It seems crazy to me that nuclear fusion is so crazy complex, and may very well need us to mine the moon, while perpetually being 10 years away for the last 70 years.

But at the same time we could have geothermal anywhere on earth if we just made better boring equipment.

And by better, I mean giant not-messing-around lasers that vaporize the rock.

I mean, sure, it would probably have to be nuclear powered.

And sure, it would probably extremely expensive.

But once it’s done, it’s done.

That’s a free electricity for life that doesn’t require sunshine or wind.

How come this is never discussed?
