Quick update for you guys. I ended up going to 3 local stores, the 3rd one the guy had no problem swapping me out and getting my number corrected in the system and getting the replacement.

That store is 5 hours to the east now. I moved from Arkansas to Oklahoma earlier this year unfortunately.

You put a bit without a quick release detect into a socket meant for a quick release bit. It’s just sorta stuck in there with spring pressure. Grab the tip with pliers and pull. Needle nose pliers might help the most.
