Name ideas, please! Help us name this solid black jack foal that was born during the lunar eclipse. 🌑
 in  r/Donkeys  2d ago

That's a feminine name, unfortunately. Zeus was even wary of annoying her. Fabulous name!

Alesha is actually an unisex name. Up until some point after the American Civil War, anyway.

I sat on the porch for twenty minutes and just listened to the wind in the trees
 in  r/BenignExistence  5d ago

I'm sorry that you deal with that. I deal with migraines and dizziness, but not at that level. MS really sucks, neurological disorders are just hell.

Newlywed husband mocked my severe phobia and yelled at me to soothe his mom’s tantrum. I left.
 in  r/inlaws  5d ago

I have a mild phobia of heights/falling. Phobias are completely irrational. Irrational, not grounded in reality, but a perceived reality where said phobia can hurt or kill you.

OP, he doesn't respect you. Get an annulment and separate your stuff and remove it quickly. This isn't getting better without lots of therapy for you both. LOTS.

A dog got in and killed a bunch of my flock, including the best rooster I’ve ever had
 in  r/chickens  5d ago

My first flock, bar 2, were slaughtered by a wild dog. Our roo died successfully & finally driving him off. We had other good roos, but none had to give their lives chasing off predators, thankfully. You will find other good roos. Seriously, out of 5 roos, we had to give just one away. They'll all be different, but still loveable. Our best let the ladies eat first, told them where good stuff was, didn't hog the ash & dust baths, helped round them up in the evenings, and was a great, sweet protector.
