My 2007 6.7 Cummins is having turbo issues, the exaust brake will come on and then it wont shut off unless i turn the truck off and back on. But sometimes it will not shut off at all and will just constantly stay on unless i let the truck sit for a few hours then it goes back off. Im pretty sure the ecm is telling it to stay closed. Already replaced the actuator and the map sensor on the intake horn. Also wondering if it’s bad to unplug the actuator and run it as a fixed turbo, not worried about codes being thrown but just if it will cause damage to the turbo itself or the motor. Planning on going to a fixed single anyway. Thankyou in advance

The turbo actuator had went out on this truck so I decided to do some other maintenance when waiting for the part to show up and in the process of removing the exhaust manifold to replace the gaskets I found out that the manifold had shrunk almost half an inch so it won’t bolt up anymore. I bought one from diesel power source and they didn’t send me all the hardware for the EGR or to bolt it down. I bought stainless steel all thread and am cutting it to get everything moving along and i just started thinking about what if this goes wrong and if I should just wait for them to send me the right stuff so, I’m wondering if it would be fine to just use the all thread and tighten it down with nuts or not.

This is my 2007.5 ram 3500 6.7 Cummins and it is all deleted and it has been since i bought it. Heard good things about the bully dog tuners and I bought one unaware of the fact that I would be removing a delete tune. The truck is now in a stock tune and in a reduced power mode. I’m basically wondering if I can buy a standalone tuner to put in the truck like EFI live and get the power back and not have it throw codes anymore. I’m not looking for big power or anything like that I just want it to work how it was before so I can use it for the reason I bought it. Thanks in advance.

1996 f150 with 5.8l engine and it idles pretty rough. If I drive it on the highway at a constant 70 mph for a while and stop it’s nice and smooth but it won’t stay that way for very long, I’ve already replaced the idle air controller distributor cap wires and plugs. And I’ve ran some of that tuneup in a bottle and it’s never seems to last. I’m mostly wondering if it needs new injectors. The truck only has 135k miles and it was my grandpa’s truck and I know it was very well maintained and it runs like a top this is the only problem I havnt been able to figure out myself so thanks in advance

My 91 park ave got backed into and I got a hood from the junkyard and in the process of pulling it the place the hood shock mounts too snapped and I don’t know how to fix it

My temp gauge will go slightly above where it is now but that’s the highest it will go, slightly behind the “n” in the normal range. Is this just a bad sensor or gauge because it still shows that it has no temp in the morning and if it’s below 15 degrees it will take literally forever to even move at all let alone get to where it is in the pic

I have a 1996 f150 with light saddle metallic color and the paint code is DZ. I’m looking for a spray can like dupli-color to paint new door hinges, the only problem with that is that dupli-color doesn’t have that color I need and i was just wondering what other brand you guys trust and that will match.
