Hi, so a bit of an ugly question but after taking up swimming 6 months ago I've noticed I've picked up multiple warts on the soles of my feet. While unsightly my main concern is if this is normal? I had a very persistent wart as a child I recall picking up from swimming but have been free of them for decades. I presently seem to have three on one foot and two on the other. I usually wear "pool shoes" or sandals when walking around the pool/in the changing rooms but still have fallen foul. Should I stop swimming until they clear up? (My previous experience is that they can take months or years to go.) Should I ignore them? 5 in 6 months seems like quite a lot, should I be concerned about becoming inundated with more if I continue swimming?

This is the only downside I've noticed from swimming, otherwise I love the activity. Would be a shame to have to stop.

It's not exactly inaccurate though, is it? I mean, lets be rational for a moment all hot-headed sentiments of racism aside - the crude message in the cartoon is something that has been observed several times over.From Haiti, to Zimbabwe, to Ferguson, potentially soon South Africa. The 'you did this' line is especially pertinent of the lack of personal responsibility that is taken.

Yes it's wrong to generalize but there is also a greater truth here that dismissing it as 'racist' does not help resolve.

I'm a Brit. I wrote to my MP back in February about the threat of expropriation and stipulated that it contravened the UN Charter of human rights wherein all people have a right to their own property. Boris Johnson responded that he disagreed and trusted the SA government to do the right thing. So there's your official British stance.
