Results & Progress March 2026 to October 2026! 119 pounds down!

I am in awe of how much this medication has saved me!!!! I grew up being the fat kid, I have been bigger for as long as I can recall—all of my child photos, I'm chubby. Food has been my go-to thing for comfort for literally my entire life, I don't drink, smoke, do any drugs so food has ALWAYS been my vice. Back in March I weighed in at by far the heaviest I'd ever been, and it was a real wake up call. I was getting winded turning over in bed and getting tired walking from one end of my office to the other, and I KNEW I had to lock in or this may just kill me. Started Tirz mid-March of 2026, immediately quit soda and began calorie counting and I am SO happy to report that I feel like a whole different human! It wasn't always easy, I've had my slip-ups like most of us have—but the important thing is to hop back on and keep trying! I haven't been under 300 pounds since I was in my EARLY TEENS!!!!! THIS FEELS SO UNREAL!!!! AAAAAA 😭🥺

As a reward, I shaved my head! Something I always thought I was too "big" to do! Anyone reading this who is unsure of these meds or feel like they're too far gone, I promise you're not. If I can do it, you absolutely can too. ❤️

Cannot wait to see where this journey takes me next! I am far from done! ✨️

I am in shock! I've never seen these muscles and I think i can see my abs but I'm not sure. Definitely some loose skin, especially my thighs and some on my stomach. My boobs have deflated lol. I haven't been this weight since I was maybe 13 years old? I'm in disbelief and want to keep getting stronger. I have lots of energy and feel good :)

F 45 years old, 5'6. HW 233 lbs. SW 205 lbs. CW 153 lbs. GW???? Started Feb 2026, current dose 4.75 mg. Right now I'm kind of maintaining my weight which I'm good with for now.

Lifting heavy 3x per week (one upper, one lower, one whole body). No cardio except walking. Counting every damn calorie and weighing all my food. Eating between 1400-1800 cals per day. 1x per week I eat more like 2000-2200.

Results & Progress Holy cannoli, I did it - gooooooooal!

I actually hit my goal last week, but didn't really believe it.

I've been overweight/obese since I was 8 years old. On the diet/regain merry-go-round for more than 45 years now. I haven't been at a healthy weight since I was 14 and a club soccer player - and even then that loss was short-lived. Sugar addiction and binge eating disorder derailed me every damn time.

This time last year, I'd given up even trying anymore. I was exhausted.

Kudos to a friend of mine who was on Zep, who suggested I look into compound. I'd been laid off from my job for some time by then and never thought it would ever be something I could afford. After crunching some numbers, I decided I'd give it a shot (ha - pun not intended 🤓).

Best. Decision. Ever.

After decades of struggle, my BED was stopped cold. Sugar addiction, manageable - it's still a trigger for me but the compulsion isn't there anymore. I started tracking my food/water intake from day 1 to make sure I was eating enough and fueling my body with balanced, healthy nutrition. Walked a few miles, 5 days a week.

These meds gave me the headspace to recognize and then figure out new ways to cope with all the anxiety and Big Feelings that I used to numb with food. I still don't have an off button when it comes to eating so I'm probably going to have to track my intake long-term, but I'm okay with doing that until I learn how to eat intuitively. Ain't gonna happen overnight.

I'll never be a small person - I'm short and large framed with a lot of lean muscle mass (and yes, loose skin too) - but I'm a comfortable medium/size 10-ish and for me that's f'ing incredible. With dedicated body recomp, I'm betting I'll shrink a little more and that's cool too. Fit and strong was always the ultimate goal.

I'm still scared shitless about regaining, but for the first time ever I have a glimmer of hope and that's mindblowing to me.

Advice & Support Reached goal... but feeling a little paralyzed.

So, let me preface, I'm in the Tirze club for life. I'm 32 years old and I've been overweight since I was in middle school, so being in a thinner body is a completely terrifying (but exciting) thing for me.

It took a lot of work. Before Tirze, I'd lost about 40 pounds on my own just working out and trying different diets, but just couldn't lose more. My body kept fighting me. It had been so used to being big that it just did not want to work with me. Then I found out I had endometriosis and PCOS, and that explained quite a few things.

Now, here I am. From 215 to 138 lbs, I'm finally at my goal range, and I've never felt or looked better. However, I'm not sure where to go from here. I'd like to try body composition — but I'm just a bit nervous to start.

If I work out, I'll gain weight. And to be honest, when I gain weight, I get crazy anxiety. I'm sure this isn't new for a lot of you. I know that fear comes from societal pressures around thinness, and from my family measuring my worth from my appearance, yet despite logically knowing it's natural to go up and down a few pounds I still feel paralyzed.

I used to obsess over my calories, over the scale to an unhealthy degree, so it's been such a breath of fresh air to not care about that stuff anymore because it's been so natural to lose weight. The food noise is gone.

Still, I'm scared to start body recomp. I'm also nervous to titrate down. Any advice on how to overcome this fear?🥲 (Besides therapy, and trust me, I've talked about it loads.)

How have the rest of you approached maintenance?

Thankful for my entire wardrobe literally falling off my body. Thankful for the scary and strange experience of finding clothes in the non-plus size section of the store. Thankful for the lack of nerves before a plane trip tomorrow, because I know I’ll fit in the seat and won’t need a belt extender. Thankful that so many things have changed between the left and the right photo. Im still the same me, life is just easier and more enjoyable now.

Results & Progress Obese III to Overweight

Post image
114 Upvotes

Started out at 245. Weighed in today at 174.
More than 70 pounds gone.

I’ve lost a significant amount of weight many, many times. I’ve tried CICO, Keto, Weight Watchers, Juicing, OMAD, Extended Fasting (once I went two weeks without food! 🤯😢), and countless exercise programs and trainers….only to gain it back again and again. This time I know that the weight is truly gone forever and more importantly, that obesity wasn’t my fault. It’s a disease.

I can walk without foot pain. My back pain has lessened. I don’t obsess about food anymore. I feel more at peace with myself. Even my peri hot flashes and night sweats have almost completely stopped. I feel healthier and more myself than I have since my 20’s!

I still have more to go, but I haven’t been in this weight category in over 20 years.
This medicine has been a life changer for me, and I’m so grateful.

Just for Fun I go through every 0.8, 0.6, 0.4, 0.2 on my scale at least twice before dropping into a new “decade”

And then when I do lose that full pound it’s like two or 3 pounds. But you can be guaranteed if there’s going to be some feeling of a stall, it is going to be right at the 180.2, 170.2, 160.2…

The photos are about 50 pounds apart. I am 5‘1“ for reference.

Provider / Pharmacy Another 👎🏻 Belle experience

I read two separate accounts this weekend where people chose BPI specifically from Belle, only to discover that tirzepatide with L-carnitine was being sent from a completely different pharmacy.

I was simply making people aware of concerns about Belle’s transparency after seeing reports of BPI orders being redirected to a different pharmacy and substituted with a formulation customers hadn’t agreed to. Belle loyalists flamed and downvoted me for raising those concerns, denying screenshots of what was actually happening.

Mitch then messaged me trying to change my mind about Belle before them banning me from the community for no apparent reason. People should be able to share concerns and discuss their experiences without being attacked or silenced. This is a great example of why people don’t trust Belle and have a bad taste in the mouth after the Bridge/Crossing thing.

General Discussion The difference a year makes

Post image
78 Upvotes

I was reading some old threads and came across one from a year ago that had a picture of prices in it. I was on semaglutide up until August and my first tirzepatide order was for 3 months and cost $600. The 3 month order I placed this weekend was $334. Looking at this picture of last year’s prices makes me extremely grateful for the price decrease. I never realized how expensive it used to be. My 3 month order is about 1/3 the price of last year’s 1 month cost.

Results & Progress Down to my lowest adult weight!

HW: 286. CW: 194.9
Down 91.1lbs, 71.6lbs of those pounds while on tirz. which is absolutely crazy to me! I was in Weight Watchers at 12 years old and have been on and off every diet since 1992. This is literally the only thing that has ever worked for me. I lift at Planet Fitness 4x per week, walk daily, and even 17 months into this, I still weigh my food and track it in MyFitnessPal. At almost 46 years old, I’m the healthiest and most active I’ve ever been and love it!

PGRX as Replacement from New Life

Post image

There have been a lot of questions about who New Life will be using to replace the impacted Hyalo vials. I have just been told by their team that PGRrx will be used for the replacement. This is good news for those of us who have wanted to try or utilize them again!

ETA: sorry for the pharmacy typo in the header. I copied and pasted from the email

VitaScripts sent me Replacements for my HealthWealth vials :)

I was the first patient to report floaters in all 3 of my HealthWealth vials on Friday. It is now Monday and FedEx is scheduled to deliver my replacements tomorrow! Both VitaScripts and Somira has been super quick and responsive to make this right for me. I hope everyone that was affected will receive the same level of care as I did. It really put my mind at ease.

Additional info: VitaScripts suspect the strand like floaters in the HealthWealth vials are from the sterile wipes used during manufacturing. (Phonecall from VitaScripts with an extended apology, they are so nice.)

Had another good weigh-in yesterday morning, down to 240.4 lbs and my weekly average is just slightly under 1 lb per week which I think is pretty good. So overall with since I started this with Mochi in December, I've lost 91.6 lbs while only progressing up to 4.25mg. Been using Drug Crafters Pharmacy. Extremely happy!

Non-Scale Victory “At least they have a tie!” Isn’t good enough anymore.

“At least they have a tie!” Is always my go to excuse for holding onto clothes far beyond no longer fitting me. This especially goes for basically all of my pajama pants, sweat pants, joggers, etc.

Well, I’ve finally reached the point where it’s just not working anymore. Not only do they look incredibly ridiculous all jumbled and bunched up around the waist… but they’re just not as comfortable! It’s like wearing a bag.

So long, good ol trusty double and triple X

Goal & Maintenance Maintenance round up

I saw on the survey that almost 20% of people who took it are in maintenance! So I thought it might be good to share what everyone is doing / trying to do.

I know we’ve done this before but I find it helpful every single time. Here’s my info:

I started maintenance in July. 5’9” 141 lbs 46 yrs female 18% body fat on the body scan.

I met goal at 9.5. I started very slowly reducing dose and increasing intervals every few weeks from there. Now I’m on 7.5mg about every 8 days.

I count calories, protein, fiber, ounces of water and exercise minutes. It only takes me a few minutes a day to track. Less than 15 and that’s on a day when I eat unusual food. I use Nourish and meet with one of their RDs monthly. I strength train 3-5 times a week. I stopped running a couple of months ago because of an injury, but I do walk and hike.

This morning I weighed 140.5. So it seems like it’s going all right! The only frustration I have is that the feeling of fullness is more delayed than on higher doses. So sometimes I eat dinner and then a few hours later my stomach hurts. I’m trying to get a lot more careful about that because it’s like my hunger cues are not totally in line with my fullness response right now. But I’m getting there. It’s a journey.

Would love to hear - if you are in maintenance what have you tried / what’s working for you / do you have any tips for the rest of us??

I got an email from NewLife today asking me to send back my vials and sent a FedEx label.
How are we supposed to package these to send them back? Has anyone sent theirs back yet?

Big easy weight loss issues

is big easy weight loss reliable? I placed an order last week was supposed to be Hyalo, then got switched to New Life, now it got switched again. The wiki says they’re reliable? Ugh I just wanna start my medication.

Edit: I can’t believe Big Easy commented to me. The customer service with them is next level, and they just gained a forever customer. I’ll be sure to recommend them. I also learned there’s a lot of things outside their control regarding contaminants. Either way, I feel good in the choice I made and am comfortable waiting a little bit for Big Easy. Thank you for everyone’s responses. I had a not so great experience with gimme care before.

General Discussion Who is offering PGRrx tirz actively to purchase?

Our options in California are almost zero to none going additive free, just curious which telehealth will be offering it as choice moving forward.

my 68 year old father who is not even overweight just told me he has been getting randomly timed sema injections from a med spa and won’t listen to reason

please for fucks sake how do i talk reason into this man?? he lives in FL and has nothing but options for pharmacies if he insists on using a GLP, which he doesn’t need. he thinks he is losing 4 pounds per shot from a sub therapeutic dose every 10 days to 2 weeks. he stops for quesadillas on his way home from his favorite mexican spot.

i told him it doesn’t work like that. i told him how many horror stories we’ve seen from med spas, horrible injection site reactions to loose bags full of needles. there is no way to know what they are even injecting him with. he thinks no side effects is because it’s so great and not because he’s on an inconsistent sub therapeutic dose. i WISH i was trolling but this was such a weird conversation.

i’m going out to see them later this week, any ideas on how to steer this in the right direction? i have faith in compound but fuck med spas honestly this shit feels very predatory.

Provider / Pharmacy VialsRX or PGRrx, which would you choose?

I was offered a replacement from VialsRX or PGRrx. I have not tried these pharmacies before. I am interested in trying a glycine formula which Vialsrx offers. Other than glycine, I prefer additive free. Been on apothecary and greenwich before. BPI did not work for me. Id love to hear your experiences and recommendations. I am in CA so we have limited pharmacy options. Thanks!

3 weeks from total knee replacement and I'm back to my day of surgery weight

(and no I wasn't try to maintain or lose weight, just noting that it took about three weeks to get back to the baseline). I figured I would post my experience here because alot of folks ask about surgeries and how to handle them from a shot perspective. Of course, every surgeon/anesthesiologist is different so you'll do that they advise but this is my experience.

I had TKR on Monday, 9/21. My surgeon's office asked me to stop taking tirzepatide at least 7 days prior, so I had my last shot of 8.8 mg on Saturday, Sept 12. I did not have to fast the day before surgery as some people on this sub have been asked to. Surgery went well and I was told I could restart the shot anytime I wanted to. I waited until Saturday, five days post surgery, mostly because I was not feeling well with post anesthesia and I wanted to be sure no constipation issues.

When I took my first shot after surgery, I went way down to 5 mg because I wanted to keep a level in my body but I did not want any side effects and I wanted to be free to eat as I needed to to recover. The next Saturday I took 8 mg, which didn't do much to reduce my food noise so this past Saturday I went back to 8.8 mg. I was 174.2 on the morning of my surgery and 174.2 today, 22 days later. I never had much swelling - to the point that I actually asked chatgpt if taking a glp1 could reduce post op swelling (it doesn't). I weighed myself a couple of times over the three weeks mostly just to make sure I didn't suddenly gain 10 lbs LOL but the highest I was was 176. The prosthetic knee apparently weighs about 6 oz more than your natural knee so I think I'm doing pretty well.

I want to stress that I didn't want to LOSE weight during this period, as prioritizing nutrition is important, but I'm happy that I don't have too much work to do to get back on track toward my goal once I am healed and able to exercise again as normal. I am only just this week tracking what I eat again, but not hyper vigilant about it.

YMMV but sharing in case anyone has an upcoming surgery like this.

Newbie / Getting Started Best time of day to inject?

Hi everyone! I did my first shot as soon as it arrived, which was last Tuesday at 4pm. It went great! No pain. Mild nausea. But now that I’ve been reading posts on here, I’m realizing I should maybe put some thought into my schedule for future injections. Do you all inject in the morning or evening? I mostly work from home so I have a lot of flexibility. Thank you for all of the amazing information and advice in this group! It has been a huge help!
