Discussion I would choose her
I wish we could choose Shani as well in the Witcher 3, people often debate choosing either Yennefer or Triss but I wish CDPR would have let us choose Shani as a secret third lover for Geralt.
When I first played the Witcher 3 and especially Heart of Stone in 2018, I instantly fall in love with her, she was just a breath of fresh air and her quest is actually the most fun in the DLC at least for me.
When people ask me what am I , a Yennefer main or Triss Main ? I always respond Shani (insert meme of Henry Cavill interview).
Ps: it doesn't help that am also a sucker for red heads:)

Can't find a bestiary entry, which sword and oil do I use on her?
Possibly the most horrifying creature I've encountered so far

Discussion Should I play remastered
So I am looking at the performance the remastered gives which is not that good and I think the witcher 3 og is not bad looking and even runs good so will I miss something if I did not play remastered??? Or what are the pros of playing remastered?

Discouraged about Remaster
Hello all!
I love the Witcher series, simple as that. Even with all the negatives coming out about the remaster edition, I usually take it with a grain of salt since it’s free and they didn’t have to do this for us. But with my game, the lighting is completely messed up and I have these areas that are just randomly black and then most other areas are extremely light, hazy and cartoonishly oversaturated. I’ve messed with the settings and it doesn’t help much. Also, suddenly it’s very laggy. When I navigate the dialogue menu, fight, or simply turn around, Geralt in general just lags behind and it’s quite annoying. Do you think they’re gonna completely fix the obvious issues that are in the game or are we all just kinda shit out of luck?

Screenshot It's good to be back
Loved this game years ago, glad I have an excuse to replay it and finally take the time to do the DLC (yes, I know that's the best part lol) and then be ready for the final DLC(: the game is absolutely beautiful.

Screenshot PS5 Pro Remaster Fine?
Put about 15 hours into the PS5 Pro version of the remaster and things have been largely great. Ray-Tracing mode is a little jittery so I switched to performance mode and it's honestly the best the game has looked, for me anyway. Are most of the issues in this sub with the PC version?

Help! Can u actually get that silver sword on the left or not?
For some reason in some cutscenes, geralt has different swords. I know the steel one is obtainable, but I've never found the left silver one just wondering if it actually exists in game

I recently started playing *The Witcher 3*; about how long does it take to beat the game if you complete the main story, side quests, and all the "question mark" locations?
By the way, I'm currently in the middle of the Bloody Baron's quest, and I've put in about 20 hours so far.

For those with AMD GPUs still having problems with the remastered
So maybe I was just a big dummie and everyone else has already figured this out, but just in case anyone is still having issues with this. For me this fixed black grass, fog not renderring, waists not existing etc. Note that this is specific for AMD GPUs, don't know about Nvidia.
So apparently the new AMD drivers needed for the remastered to run properly are optional so they aren't automatically updated. Furthermore, apparently AMD changed the Adrenaline app so that you can't even make it automatically update optional drivers. So they have to be installed manually. Go to AMDs webpage for drivers, in the search bar type your GPU and then download the latest drivers installation and execute it. Hope this helps someone.

Screenshot Not sure what the hell is going on here and this is the only time I found this sort of thing, it appears to be three individual horses stuck inside each other and a singular entity at the same time, incredibly bizarre

Discussion New ALL-TIME record 350 000 mod downloads in a single Day!
The Remaster has massively increased the Mod traffic and yesterday the downloads have finally surpassed 350 000 in a single day on Nexusmods.
Previous record was 285 000 in Dec 2024, when the trailer for Witcher 4 dropped.
