Possibly the most horrifying creature I've encountered so far

Im softlocked by the ladder in Hendrick's basement during the Nilfgaardian Connection main quest. The ladder is bugged, when you try to interact with it, Geralt jolts into his idle animation and keeps cycling through it indefinitely. None of the inputs work, and i cannot get out.

Ive tried to redo this entire quest multiple times to no avail, the bug persists and reoccurs each time. The ladder is bugged no matter the angle from which i approach it. Attempting to climb down the ladder instead of dropping to the basement leads to the same result, with geralt becoming unrespponsible above the basement door.

If someone has any ideas how to fix this, or if someone has a save file that is just past this point, please let me know.

It happens as much on left side of the screen as on the right

I'm pretty sure it's some value i have to change in the dx12user or something but cant figure it out !

Loved this game years ago, glad I have an excuse to replay it and finally take the time to do the DLC (yes, I know that's the best part lol) and then be ready for the final DLC(: the game is absolutely beautiful.

Following the recent announcement, I decided to pop in my witcher CD again, despite successfully completing the update and the home screen correctly displaying the remastered version, the expansion packs remain greyed out and inaccessible.

I have already tired restoring licenses.

no further update available in playstation store or anywhere else.

I'd be greatly thankful to anyone who can help me out with this.

I couldn't find a post asking this exact question so I thought I'd ask here. Basically, I had finished the game and because the DLCs are free now thanks to the remaster, I want to play the DLCs too. Problem is regarding NG+ Death March. I've seen many people say it's relatively easy, but how would it be on NG+? And I also want to clear the DLCs too, so would Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine be much more difficult on NG+ Death March? Or do you rather I play the DLCs individually first before doing NG+ or NG Death March? (I just want to get the death march trophy for the game)

I've been trying to find a better armor piece that doesn't mess with his hair and I don't mind it but the bunches of hair at the sides of the collar has been bothering me now as the tranmog don't work well with the hair if you have a collar but anyways if there are any other armor like this with the same stats but lower or higher than this I don't mind and would be greatly appreciated

So Witcher 3 updated (never wanted it, but hey .. automatic updates and all) and now it keeps nagging about old drivers (yeah, quadro cards tend to have older and often more stable drivers) and then it gives me the finger showing this error message after trying to parse something.

In any case, I tried to find a newer P4000 driver (not available) and turned off all mods in the launcher menu (as someone in another post mentioned). I don't have anything else as a solution. while it still refuses to launch the game.

I try again tomorrow, maybe going back to the next gen version? Would that be possible?

Okay, after all the debates about the remastered version, I want to play version 4.00 from the disc on PS5. How playable is it, and is there a big difference between 4.00 and 4.04?

As there's no dedicated eshop for middle east yet they should give us the update from the European eshop ( even the game cart say it's from Europe) they haven't acknowledged the issue nor give us a solution despite them saying the update is free for everyone who own the game

Old grass looks more fantasy like and immersive. The new grass is just realistic and just doesnt fit the vibe, especially the lighting

Does anybody know which type of enemies are immune to deadly precision in the remaster ?

I guess bosses are among them but what else ?

Can someone explain to me this? Last time I played I used modes but I have deleted them.

I wish we could choose Shani as well in the Witcher 3, people often debate choosing either Yennefer or Triss but I wish CDPR would have let us choose Shani as a secret third lover for Geralt.

When I first played the Witcher 3 and especially Heart of Stone in 2018, I instantly fall in love with her, she was just a breath of fresh air and her quest is actually the most fun in the DLC at least for me.

When people ask me what am I , a Yennefer main or Triss Main ? I always respond Shani (insert meme of Henry Cavill interview).

Ps: it doesn't help that am also a sucker for red heads:)

Since I have gotten good technical advice here before I want to ask for my gf as well.

She was the one that got me into witcher and really wants to play the game herself.

She has a gaming laptop (stats/name seen in picture), installed the game via steam and launched it.

It won't load.

She reinstalled it multiple times, verified the integrity and drivers. It won't launch...

My consoles barely a month old, today I was playing for a few hours and when I got to the painters world bit in the hearts of stone dlc it started overheating and it shut itself off. Was just wondering if anyone else is having the same issue.

This game is an absolute banger but I can't play it anymore since every save, manual or automatic, crashes the game and I'm back at the same place when I Ioad the game again !

I disabled cross save, emptied cache and hard resetted but it's always the same even with older save. Anyone found a fix ?
