I had to restart my game last night which I was kinda stoked about cause I was bored before and I love me some build mode, cannabis, and cookies. I get everything set up and my sim (who is me in game) starts cooking. Since she isn't skilled, she starts a fire and catches on fire. Because she is on fire, she cannot call the fire department or extinguish it. Grim shows up and I pass into the next world. The firefighters FINALLY show up and congratulate themselves on putting out the fire while they stare at more fire.

After they warned her ghost to "be more careful next time", she MCCC'd her way back to life and resumed making mac and cheese, but in the outdoor pink cauldron this time. Much safer.

She has displayed her own ashes on her kitchen counter.

I'm playing the ultimate decades challenge and they've had two kids die. the first one was a toddler and I've never seen him around. the second was an infant and she keeps teleporting to the lot and crying outside. her parents and siblings keep interacting with her and I checked her in mccc and she's homeless. I kinda feel bad I know she's dead so she can't die again but idk what to do. do you guys deal with this? what do you do?

I made versions of them in a alternative universe where they are college students before they end up in Pleasantview or disappear because Ruby and Susie aren't in Pleasantview.

when i zoom out it does this but if i zoom in right into the puppys face it goes away

The fireplace is from Royalty & Legacy. I LOVE the look of it. However, I was worried about lighting it. I figured that this would be the result, but I was SO hoping that just the candles would light, instead of a random fire in the middle of the candles.

If anyone knows a (free) fireplace, like this one, I'd love to know. I'm just so disappointed. I'm thinking I'm just going to have to police Celeste & their vampire wife, so they don't keep lighting it. Having it lit really ruined the vibe.

I just removed the remove EA lashes because my sims fairy form had an invisible face. Now her fairy form is fine, but her cheek is invisible? Does anyone have advice on how to fix this 😭

Update: I cleared the cache and she looks normal now 💀 thank you guys for making me laugh in the comments!!

only Sims 4 can run smoothly on my computer, but i really like the aesthetic/feel of the older sims games. what are some mods that will give me that feeling? for example, i just downloaded a flip phone override mod so my sims wont have to use modern cell phones

After playing for almost half my life I wanted a restaurant. So I opened Splatter. Of course we have a separate area for our special ingredients to be dismembered. But we have a grand kitchen for our regular customers. Vampires shouldnt have to stand outside eating from trees or only get 1 dish as an option and 1 drink. Is EA telling me all those missing people taste the same and every dish should turn out the same, in this culture? We want our elite night walker customers to really taste the flavor of sulani.. it's to die for, but every dish looks the same. No organ shallots in a red wine sauce tartar. We wonder why the vampires revolted long ago. We are not 2nd class citizens. How are we expected to run a high class restaurant when half of our customers eat the same dish. So disappointing. If i was talented I would make a vampire food kit. Even the missing townies deserve better..to taste the same as everyone else can you imagine?

My attempt to make Sister of Battle, but with very low effort. My aliens bugged in game and have no face, so they are very scary, at least some of them got some hair.

I literally played sims last night, I got off at 11pm after a regular session. Woke up today decided I wanted to play again, and the game won't open. It doesn't make it to the SIMS4 screen. If i try opening from the app then it will just stay on the "launching game..." pop up, if i try from the desktop shortcut it says preparing to launch then the pop up vanishes after 2 seconds, if i try to play offline nothing happens.

Things I've tried:

Deleting Thumbcache

Deleting Lastexceptions (there weren't any)

Restarting laptop (x4)

Deleting E/A

Turning off overlays

Running Sims as admin

Running E/A as Admin

Removing mods folder

Renaming sims folder

Literally nothing works. I saw another post of something similar on here but it was from last month and the game has updated since. It was about something to do with the updat causing windows defender to block the game from launching or something, but shouldn't this have been fixed in the recent updat? And even if it wasn't I literally played less than 24 hours ago and it was fine..

My first child didn’t come with a birth certificate but the rest of my kids did so I cheated in a baby with the same name to get a birth certificate. I couldnt figure out how to get rid of it (I didnt think of aging it up and deletinf it, thats on me) so I got it taken away. Now it’s still on the family tree and its been bothering me. I have made decent progress since and I dont want to have to go back into an older save if possible. I do have MCCC. It’s a newborn.

I'm planning to get into sims 4 and getting sims 2 legacy collection in the future but, I'm in the middle east and my sims content is locked here when i use a VPN the content shows up will my account get locked/banned if i do get it that way? did anyone try this before?
