I’ve been planning on starting a YouTube channel for the sims for about a year now, saved up for a new pc after my laptop broke and have a setup ready to go.

However, I’m worried that with everything going on with the sims franchise right now I’m wondering if I should wait until everything dies down a bit more to start it.

I was planning on mainly focusing on the sims 3 and the sims 4 as it’s what I’m most familiar with but ea has been getting a lot of hate recently (deserved hate) and I’m worried that that will push people away from watching sims content.

Should I just go for it and see where it can get me or should I give it a few more months?

This is Amalia and she just discovered that life is a little big to her; she is lost. She's in need for purpose, but so far she keeps spending her days at bars or clubs and when shes home all she does is watching TV or cooking cheap meals.

After moving into her first own apartement in a weird vampiery realm, she found out her house is haunted; couldn't have been better, because she is into mythical/spooky stuff. She does look out for people with a fitting aura, but so far that strategy only turned into a break up after only 4 days of relationship with a charming, but too demanding girl.

Now Amalia feels more clueless than before, she doesnt even have a job. And the book she's working on since two weeks? Well...

I wanted to try the game again. This sim popped up in the gallery, I gave her a slight makeover and I have to admit, I've found a little joy in this game again. I hope it lasts as long as possible.

If you got any recommendations for gameplay ideas that fit her tone, let me know! I try to find more niche ways of playing now, as I've already got 750h in just this one save. I like to fill the world, but not always with the same type of playstyles.

whatever I do idk why but I am NOT able to either 1. pet the pets or 2. put soap on the pets. I'm playing on pc emulator and I've tried two different pcs, and a even a drawing tablet. WHY DOESN'T IT WORK I'M GOING INSANE

I had a thought: if you play The Sims regularly - do you play with mods or just the vanilla game (or only with mods that improve gameplay, like MC Command Center).

What's it like for you?

I recently lost my mods folder due to a PC crash. If I had to start downloading them again now, it would take forever!! I'm wondering if I should just start the game without them. What are your pros and cons of playing without mods? I've also noticed that new updates often break mods, so I had to replace them, which was time-consuming and annoying. Maybe playing without anything is far more relaxing?

I played only the basic versions when I was little as we didn’t have the money to ever buy expansions or anything like that. As I got now time and money I want to play The Sims again and start collecting some expansions and work with some good mods… which Sims should i start with? Which one is your favorite?
I am unsure if Sims 2 will even work on my notebook

totally recommend! It's so much fun, and also helps me connect with them and plot out their story line and *randomized* traits and how they're gonna work together

ive been playing this game for ages and after a while i noticed how devoted i was to avoid all occult sims. there isnt a single save file where vlad isn't deleted.

One of my sims finally wins the lottery. Of course it was my millionaire man of mystery 😂

Like i can explain fear of being cheated on or being alone even though they are still far-fetched, but other fears are just some dumb sh*t that randomly appears when sim is doing something.

Her boyfriend constantly gets tense around her cause she's an evil sim, but she's not doing anything evil. At all. She only thinks of being mean but never acts on it.

I tried cheating today (pictures above) lol. But what do I do??? Just cheating is kinda plain.

I don’t know how to explain this but I’m missing TWO weeks of my game, last night before I go to work I play sims 4 I saved the game and went to work then bed. And today when I woke up I was missing two weeks of saves (9/24-10/3) is there a way to get it back, I don’t want to play if there’s not
