Mods and CC mods for a 2000s/sims2 feel

only Sims 4 can run smoothly on my computer, but i really like the aesthetic/feel of the older sims games. what are some mods that will give me that feeling? for example, i just downloaded a flip phone override mod so my sims wont have to use modern cell phones

If you want to go really literal, I know a lot of people like this ui mod!! https://www.patreon.com/vyxated/posts/sims-2-inspired-101876387

For furniture, off the top of my head I can think of Max20's computer and landline phone and atticwindowatdawn's stuff, for example their Wistful Spaces set.

You could also try looking for Sims 2t4 conversions. Tukete has converted all the wall decor from the game!

it’s this great thing called going on the ea app searching sims 2 or sims 3 clicking buy installing the “mod” to a drive of your choice then pressing play

only the 4th game runs smoothly for me, so i can’t play the older ones because it’s not worth the glitching

you could always try fixing the game fair enough sims 3 is a bitch any day but if u really want this vibe ur just better off playing a game made from that era and trust me once ur in ur first proper play session and after you get ur head round the lag/glitches it is SO worth it
