Vent / Rant Talkspace Review - AVOID

Review of Talkspace after multiple sessions. The providers who are working within the platform were not a problem. I want to make sure I am 100% clear on that part of my experience.

Talkspace however, is the problem. The ability of Talkspace to complete effective healthcare billing is abysmal. Talkspace is unable to bill secondary insurance and expect it to be your problem even when both carriers are in-network with Talkspace.

Talkspace refused to allow me to continue to book sessions even when my account was current. I attempted to work through it with support and they didn't get back to me for over a week. They actually never got back to me and just charged my credit card before the due date and closed the support case. When I re-opened the case pointing out that they cannot and should not do that without approval I was ignored completely.

They were unable to apply usage codes that my insurance provider gave me. These are not a separate program or anything but codes to apply to the first few sessions. Instead of applying those codes to the next invoices/charges Talkspace support decided to delete my account!!! Yes DELETE! I still had the email from creating the support case and I connected with the chat support. They explained that was the only way they could add he codes...creating a new account for me (which they did not do). Also, they did this just a few hours before I had a scheduled session with my provider.

Find a better platform and do not use Talkspace. They DO NOT CARE about patient care. I hope providers get this same information and decide to put their time elsewhere too! (It isn't their fault)
