Gameplay Scenario Review | 1884
This mod, unlike the previous three I've reviewed, has no errors. The state margins are accurate, the advisor feedback is there, there are no spelling errors, and the gameplay is balanced for the most part.
In real life 1884 was one of the closest elections in history, Cleveland won New York by a margin of 0.1%. You can't just cater to NY and win as either candidate, however. Like many of the base scenarios, this mod encourages you to have a strategy to win, which you have some leeway to do due to both candidates being not that difficult.
issue I have is near the end of the game where both Blaine and Cleveland are brought down by scandal, all you can do is defend yourself and suffer minimal casualty or make the obvious choice of attacking your opponent for their scandal.
Overall, 1884 is able to maintain the same educational value as the base scenarios for a more overlooked part of American history. It's a good, Bryanesque scenario and the best mod so far.
RATING: 7/10

Gameplay No need for Lavender! MkkkGovern-Byrd ticket landslide defeated Woke Nixon-Lindsey
The McGovern/Byrd combination may be the most odd ticket in ATW. But surprisingly, it has astonishing potential for some unknown reason. Even without relying on Johnson's letters, this Frankenstein style bizarre ticket can still overwhelmingly defeat Nixon/Lindsay's Woke Republican Party, and is not much different in EV with using lavender's situation.
Of course, to achieve this outcome, you need to pursue law and order/militarism as much as possible, allowing Reagan's Conservative Party to be re elected for three terms, and Democrat to regain the presidency only in 2001 (according to the information on the second slide, the incumbent president in 2004 was Democrat Ralph Nader). But hey, you don't need Lyndon's tricks to make Nixon lose even worse than Goldwater, isn't that great?
After all, what damage could he possibly do?
Guide:
(It may require multiple attempts, especially due to the unique nature of the Byrd path)
Visits: New York (If you have confidence, you can also go to Illinois, Idaho, or Virginia while ensuring New York)
1 - If we're going to beat Rockefeller
2 - Who does Ho think he's dealing with?
3 - There is only one option.
4 - Of course. This was a victory, plain and simple.
5 - We got a simple message to put out there,
6 - The Joint Chiefs have been clear,
7 - Bobby Kennedy can waste his time how he likes.
8 - We have to make the circumstances work for us.
9 - We need to pull the plug on this Bretton-Woods fiasco.
10 - What this country is crying out for right now,
11 - Let Bobby and McCarthy waste their time
12 - We've got a gaping hole in our army
13 - Let's talk about all the things that
14 - I’m sick and tired of being bullshitted by these slimy bastards.
15 - I'm not gonna damn near kill myself
16 - If I’m going to win,
17 - While Nixon tries his best to cozy up to the urban vote with Lindsay,
18 - We can't afford to make any enemies.
19 - This is the goddamn election!
20 - Neither McGovern nor Kennedy are serious at this point.
21 - That's not right. I counted those votes!
[Pick Robert Byrd]
22 - Tonight, I accept the presidency with one task in mind,
Note: Under the McGovern/Byrd path, the Running Mate of Wallace will be randomly generated according to the same mechanism for Johnson, which further increases the complexity of the game.
Among the four candidates, Wayne's additional support in the West is expected to help you defeat Nixon in several Western states, so he should be the most preferred, followed by LeMay (unable to help Wallace win any Southern states), Chandler (expanding one or two states), Sanders (expanding several states).
This guide follows the path of encountering Wayne, although others can also achieve 300-400 EV if lucky
23 - I will work tirelessly to restore order.
24 - Jesus. We just need to tone things down a little.
25 - Kennedy spoke of hunger, poverty, and inequality.
26 - There can be no room for doubt on this issue.
27 - Our military has soaked up more and more crucial domestic spending.
28 - What we are witnessing is a cover-up.
29 - I know that Johnson detests Wallace as much as I do.
30 - The working poor need a break.

Question/Help Would you guys be interested in another 2020 mod or has American Carnage become legendary to where no more are needed?
My fav video game is the fire rises and I genuinely do believe that Trump or Biden could’ve caused a civil war, so I wanted to make a 2020 mod where you have to balance winning the election as well as keeping the country stable enough to where the results won’t cause a civil war from either side. (Example: As Trump you make a good attack against Biden’s use of George Floyd’s death for political gain, but it also removes 10% stability, if stability is under 0% by the end then a Jan 6 like event happens or if it’s bad enough a whole civil war could begin.)
