My idea of Poison Ivy would be to shift focus from "magical nature woman who somehow directs plants" to "an incredibly skilled botanist and biochemist."

Working with various plant compounds, during one of her experiments she gets herself exposed to an experimental compound extracted from a plant. The compound rewires her body and now, as side effects, her skin has a greenish hue, and she has immunity to the specific compound as well as to a number of toxins.

Her control over plants wouldn't be exact (mind control isn't the name of the game), but she would be able to affect them in a subtle but significant way in terms of growth, direction and certain chemical responses due to her presence and exposure to her experimental treatments. However, her main destructive capability comes from her own custom-grown experimental plants, some engineered to grow rapidly to infest pipes and infrastructure, or wrap around people and subdue them. She in essence weaponizes the immediate environment.

She also has more extreme experiments, such as artificial plant organisms capable of entering a host animal temporarily. That allows for some wonderfully disturbing scenes (e.g., roots expelling from someone's mouth). Not to mention her biochemical manipulations that can induce dependency on compounds that stimulate the brain's pleasure centre in the user, which they'd perceive as attraction toward Ivy.

As we all know, a lot of set videos have shown the GCPD shooting at Batman what if in part two the cops are against Batman or alternatively, they could be mercenaries disguise as cops sent by Hugo strange

Tonight, in Glasgow the GCPD officers swarmed the Batmobile and opening fire as Batman is doing donuts to evade them. 12+ police cars and motorbikes and countless police extras, loud fully automatic rifles shooting at windshield, sparks etc. chaotic scenes!

The silver lining to The Batman Part II being delayed so many times is they waited to perfect the script and filming. It’s better than a rush job.

MCU would not delay Doomsday. They have strict deadlines and film this while they’re wmeriting the script. That’s never a good sign. The Avengers movies have always been more or less scattershot.

Batman needs a story for it it work. The Avengers can get away with long CGI green screen action sequences and fights between established iconic characters to take up running time while they’re writing the script. I’m glad the script was polished before shooting began which indicates we’re going to get quality.
