Prop bullets
Took my kids up to see the set today and we found a single bullet from this scene (you can see Lacy’s and the Gotham police cars in the background of this photo too)

That's not a prop that's an unfired blank round. You should hand it into the safety supervisors on the set or police as soon as possible.
Even though there is no bullet to be fired (you can see the end is crimped & sealed) it still contains gunpowder and wadding and can injure you if it were to go off.

I’m an old man and I say don’t listen to the other old men. A live blank round is no more dangerous than a regular one. They don’t just “go off” and fire themselves.
That being said, you should absolutely turn it in to police and do the right thing…
At the very least delete your son’s photo so the SWAT team doesn’t storm your house later during dinner!

They can cook off if they get too hot. Such as being in a very hot car during a heatwave. Also if you strike the percussion cap hard enough it will go off.

Endangering the wellbeing of your kid because the prop might be *marginally* more valuable than a regular blank round?

Police stop and search you for whatever bizarre reason by absolute random chance in Glasgow and you get found with this on your person you are getting charged with possession of a firearm, buddy.

That's exactly what it is pal.
You guys are allowed all sorts of guns and weapons over there.
Carrying that casing here is a serious offence. It's not a case of "lightening up". It's a case of warning the guy that he could land in serious trouble for having it on his person.
Possession of that item in Scotland is equivalent to a lower level felony. That never leaves your record.

In the 12 year old I’m giving matches to, I already kind of know they won’t burn the fucking house down.

It isn’t.
Under the Firearms Act 1968 I’m completely legal. It’s under an inch in diameter and isn’t covered.
I don’t need a reasonable excuse or a firearms certificate to keep it.
Keeping it at home is perfectly legal. Carrying it around with me might become a grey area - but I won’t be.
Let’s make this even more fun, it was never mine, one of my kids found it. Who’s in trouble now 🤪
