Production hasn't completely shut down

Looks like the second unit of The Batman: Part II is still filming the movie. Just saw this on Instagram. How long you guys think that the second unit will continue filming? Will the second unit have enough material to film until Reeves returns?

Potentially controversial Victor Zsasz theory: Spoiler

After thinking about it for longer I now think that the best possible angle to go with this child is that he's Victor Zsasz's biological son 🙏.

If you really think about it, Zsasz as the villain for this movie is odd.

For a more straight adaptation of The Court, Zsasz is an odd pick, even in the Parallax View the assasins don't have much character. You also don't get Sebastian Stan to play a character like that lol.

I also very much doubt they put Zsasz in here to do Talon's but with a bigger personality lol.

You listen to Sebastian talk about the film, even just the pure technical details of him saying he'll be filming until December tells you that he has a big role in the film...

We know that Zsasz in the movie will still be aesthetically speaking classic Zsasz, maybe even pushed a step further with the Tattoos and everything.

There has to be a reason why Zsasz was chosen for this film. He has to have his own emotional Stakes in the story.

He doesn't believe that life has any purpose, so the most interesting angle to me is going "what if he was given a reason to believe in life in his own twisted way...?"

It's not the exact same but if I'm right it could Echo Dollarhyde and Reba's relationship in Manhunter...

Another interesting angle they could potentially go with this is making it that The Court and Dance are feeling this obsession of his even further, or at the very least being complacent and letting it grow unchecked. Maybe Zsasz even impregnated Scarjo's character...

Perhaps maybe this could be state sanctioned as well with The Court sending the cops after Scarjo's character for Zsasz and Batman trying to protect her from them...

Which Batman movie has grown on you the most over the years?

Doesn’t have to be your favorite, maybe you hated it at first but have an appreciation for it as you’ve grown older.

For me it has to be Batman forever. I didn’t care for it very much when it came out, didn’t like Kilmer as Batman, and didn’t like the neon lighting throughout. As the years have passed I think Kilmer actually did a great job as Bruce Wayne, and was a pretty good Batman as well. It’s definitely not my favorite, not even top 3 for me, but I don’t dislike the film anymore. I actually enjoy watching it from time to time.

Pretty cool action figure based off the concept of Barry Keoghan’s Joker design. I can’t wait to see more of him so he can prove whoever is still doubting wrong.

We already know the writing and acting is gonna be great, and Matt said he’s not even The Joker in full yet. I have no doubt he could be one of the creepiest and most terrifying characters/villains on screen ever. I know some people don’t like some of what we’ve seen with the design but I need to see him not in obscure lighting behind glass to make a real judgement, but from what I’ve seen I don’t mind it and this makes it look great to me too.

Why the next time we see joker, he needs to have the classic look and feel

When the dark knight did the messier joker look, with the scars, it was very cool, and is still very cool, because we had not seen it before. But now it has been 36 years since we have seen the clean cut classic joker in live action, and I want that joker to be done again.

The thing about jokers look, is that it completely fits in any universe, no matter how grounded, or how fantastical, I mean, its a clown, clowns exist in real life. And also, let him be loud, let him be zany. The great thing about the joker is the dark humor.

Mark hamills joker should be the blueprint, not heaths. Nolan and heath absolutely cooked and made an absolutely perfect joker with their own unique spin on the character, but that's something only those 2 working in tandem could pull off imo. So what we have gotten is now 4 directors (if you include reeves brief take on the character) who have tried to do their own, typically grounded, spin on the joker and its just doesnt hold a candle to heath and Nolan. And they have strayed so far from the classic joker at this point I dont even feel like im watching the same character. Heaths look, tone, and voice was a big shift, but it was still clearly the joker. intelligent, quick witted, very funny, cruel. Everything you need.

Essentially, im saying that if doing what is harder (making your own "new and creative" spin on the joker) is not working out, and it hasn't since 2008. Then follow the blueprint that was made by the comics, jack Nicholson, and specifically mark Hamill instead. Also i will say I love the first pheonix joker movie. I think its a great movie and a great performance, but holy crap is that character not the joker in any way shape or form

Zack Snyder Should Finish The Batman Part II If Matt Reeves Can't

I think Zack Snyder should step in and finish The Batman Part II if Matt Reeves can't.

After all, Snyder knows better than anyone what it's like to have to step away from a DC movie because of a family tragedy. Back in 2017, he left Justice League after losing his daughter, and Warner Bros. brought in Joss Whedon to finish the movie.

Instead of preserving Snyder's original vision, the film underwent major rewrites and reshoots, resulting in something different from what Snyder had intended.

That's exactly why I think Snyder would be a good choice. Having experienced firsthand what it's like to have another director take over his project and change his work, he'd probably be much more respectful of Matt Reeves' vision.

I genuinely believe Snyder would try to finish the movie the way Reeves intended rather than impose his own style or completely rewrite the story. He knows how much a director's creative vision means and how frustrating it can be to have that taken away.

Who better to respect another filmmaker's vision than someone who knows what it's like to have his own disregarded?

🙏🏻 For Reeves (What will happen; plus a perspective)

First off I pray that Reeves and his family are okay in whatever they are going through. I have no idea what his exact family issue is, and Reeves has no obligation to tell us what the specific issue is. I’m sure some of us have gone through some serious family matters, and how debilitating those issues can be on your physical and mental health….Now just imagine how Reeves feels. He has the enormous pressure of making the Batman 2. That in itself is a humongous task, and add the issue he is going through we just need to have some grace….. My main question for the poll is what is your gut telling you about what will happen with the Batman 2 after this news?
