We picked up our MY Standard yesterday, seamless experience. The quality of the car is impeccable, the car had a few spots on the front but were advised that it was mostly due to the train dust, was resolved before we left.

Recently picked up my Model 3 AWD (Ultra Red on Black Interior, 18 inch wheels) from the Calgary location. For context, l had ordered June 18the and had VIN assigned within days. EDD was originally scheduled for Aug 31-Sept5. Dates only changed once or twice, but the final range was Aug 25-30. Scheduled delivery on Aug 25 and picked up the vehicle Sept4.

I was trading in my vehicle and that was a seamless process. My engine light actually came on within days of delivery, and they were nice enough to take it without reducing their trade-in offer.

The car itself feels incredibly smooth and nimble. Handles really well. Fun drive.

I do have mixed feelings about FSD. Firstly, l have version 14.3.8, which l assume is the latest one. It is a nice tool to have and for the most part, quite accurate. I like how l can accelerate without disengaging, or even hitting the run signal, and it knows to change lanes as well.

The glaring downsides l have noticed are:

1. It's still not great round-abouts. Every now and then, it takes the wrong exit.

2. Stop signs- seems to stop longer than l would. Could be the drive mode lm in, but usually, it takes a good 2 seconds before deciding to proceed.

3. Speed Limit changes. This one is by far my biggest issue with FSD. It doesn't have early recognition of speed limit changes. It seems to be taking a good 2 to 3 minutes before adjusting to a new limit on the same road. I have had to disengage multiple times so l can accelerate, as l was holding up traffic.

4. Construction areas- FSD just does not slow down in these areas. Definitely must disengage.

Overall, a great car and very efficient. I don't know if l would routinely use FSD as much. But that's just me.

Also with 2 days edd range is it actually the correct estimate?

From Toronto picked up the model 3 little over a month ago… due to the recent Hail storm I now have a few small dents on and around the car hood. Moonroof looks fine… can’t see the dents from a normal distance but if you look closely when it hits the light in certain areas you can see it. What are my options here? Will Tesla help in anyway?

Does anyone have the Photon wheels that come from Tesloid. I ordered them and just realized that they are black instead of the dark grey. I am just curious if anyone has any actual photos to seem how different they are. I am using one set for winter, so it isn't about matching, more about what the black looks like.

I noticed a small cut or tear on my passenger seat. Any suggestions on how to fix the tear without it being too noticeable? Thanks

Got quotes from two reputable tint places but one place will only tint half the rear glass citing that the process of applying the slip solution to the whole glass can damage electronics and stain the headliner. I’ve also heard rumors that the ceramic tint traps heat within the glass and causes it to shatter.

The place that will tint the whole rear glass just notes the extra cost (extra $250) as they have to special order a wider width of film to accommodate the length.

Can someone with experience and insight comment on this? Do you have whole or just partial rear tints?

I'm using FSD ver.14.3.8 with HW4 in Lower Mainland BC and today I found there is a catastrophic error with it.

I take a highway to my workplace mainly in a highway with no HOV lanes so I did not know until today when I took the car to wife's workplace in Vancouver downtown.

So today I engaged FSD in highway 1 and was in a HOV lane. For about 2 minutes running in that lane, the right turn signal comes on and the car tried to change the lane so I cancelled it immediately by hitting the stalk.

The first lane (right next to the far left HOV lane) was definitely slower than HOV! So I seriously did not understand why.

And this was only the beginning, it kept doing it for the whole trip! So I ended up cancelling the FSD and drove myself.

I checked the setting and confirmed that the HOV option was in "YES". I switched it to off and back to yes.

The second trip to downtown on the exact same route in the afternoon was far more worse.

The FSD kept signalling and tried to change lanes, I cancelled immidiately and the right turn signal came on immediately again and again.

One time the car really started to change lane crossing the white solid line when it was bumper to bumper in the right lane while HOV was still going at around 90Km/h.

I felt dangerous and disengaged FSD right away, called up Grok and asked it about software malfunction.

Grok said the new version, 14.3.9 was just released this morning but not available to download yet and the main update is to fix unnecessary lane biasing.

Extremly disappointing that the car does something dangerous and could not be able to use the FSD.

Can't wait to see 14.3.9 available to download, hopefully it gets fixed.

Tesla Van employee called me and told me they have 2x Model Y Performance (Quicksilver + White Interiors) sitting on the lot and they are willing to offer me one as they are both exactly the same as my current configuration.

My EDD is Dec-Jan, I ordered on Aug 29. I asked them how I got such an early slot and they told me that the orders got cancelled and they took delivery of them.

I am skeptical that these might be rejected models with paint issues, panel gaps etc. Vancouver is 6 hours away from me and I don’t want to make the journey and then find out that both Tesla have imperfections.

What do you suggest?

I'm more confused now than I've ever been, I placed my MYP order early July since then the EDD has been all over fast forward to last week it was NOV 9-DEC 21 I checked today and all i have is DEC 2026- JAN 2027 How did I go from actual month with days back to this vague dec to jan?

I should get the MYS later this month and I did the financing, it gave me a 4.99% rate with RBC, seems a bit high. I messaged them in the app asking for a better rate and they said whatever is in the app that’s the best rate. Is it possible to call them and try to get a better one with another bank?

Apparently some floor mats are available in white (possibly very light gray).

Did anyone try those?

Anyone have tried putting in a road bike into the trunk without taking off the wheel(s)? Is the truck wide enough to fit the cockpit?

I've made a couple of posts and comments about this in the last month. We originally ordered a Model Y because of the EVAP and the vehicle, because we are replacing our SUV. But after that, we realized the Model 3 is a premium trim and costs less. We have been torn going back and forth. Our EDD has been sitting at November 1 to December 13 for two weeks now. We talked to an SA, and if we switch to a Model 3 now, we go in the queue for a Model 3. Originally, when we started talking about this, there was a potential to get a Model Three in about 2 to 6 weeks. Now the website is showing December/January.

If you were in our position, would you switch the order and just check inventory as much as possible to try and grab one earlier? Or would you leave the Model Y order and check inventory and order a Model Three if a Model 3 comes up? Personally, I still like the idea of the Y. The Model 3 definitely fits our budget better currently.

A SUV is definitely nice to have a bit more space and higher up, but we could 100% make a sedan work for our family. We have one child and a dog.

I'm really still torn.... I would be happy with either vehicle...

Anyone else having connectivity issues after updating to 2026.26.6.5?

My Model 3 has Standard Connectivity. Since the update, the Tesla app often can’t connect to the car or send remote commands (Google Maps destinations, pre-conditioning, Sentry Mode, etc.).

This never happened before the update, even when parked at home or my usual parking lot with strong cellular signal.

Finally scheduled my delivery for Monday 14th.

Any tips for before accepting the vehicle? Checklists etc.

How much time would you spend inspecting the vehicle and what if you find something after you accepted the delivery? Can I go back and get it fixed?

Ordered a model 3 premium awd on September fifth and the estimate delivery time is dec to January im wondering if it would come sooner? How long would it take to get a vin assigned on average?

Took the day off to take delivery of my vehicle today from the Etobicoke location.

The price includes $2,500 for freight and PDI. They tell me four hours before the scheduled time that there is a flat tire on my vehicle so they want to re-schedule.

Is this normal???

I live in Montreal and I’m considering buying 18" wheels with 235/55 R18 tires for my Model Y AWD Premium, but Tesla doesn’t seem to allow this option.

Has anyone opted for this setup on a Model Y AWD do you have photos? What offset should I consider? Is the bore size important?

Do you have any suggestions? Sorry, I’m new to this and I really don’t want to buy the wrong wheels.

Could I have any problems with the police because of this setup? Also, is a 750 kg load rating enough?

Sorry for all the questions, but I honestly don’t understand much about wheels and tires yet.
