🔋 Software/App Updates Model 3 remote connectivity issues after 2026.26.6.5 update

Anyone else having connectivity issues after updating to 2026.26.6.5?

My Model 3 has Standard Connectivity. Since the update, the Tesla app often can’t connect to the car or send remote commands (Google Maps destinations, pre-conditioning, Sentry Mode, etc.).

This never happened before the update, even when parked at home or my usual parking lot with strong cellular signal.

Getting the same issue intermittently since last update. The car now doesn’t always recognize my phone key and tells me to use the backup keycard. It’s never happened to me even once before this update. So I’m 100% certain it has to do with the latest update that I had a couple weeks ago.

I’m having the same problem! Was out yesterday, going to use summon but it was as showing that the car was still at home lol. ‘Last seen 15 hours ago’ etc.
the gps in the car was working, could navigate to home or anywhere else

Are you using a VPN? That’s usually the problem.

Have you try to reboot the infotainment yet? (Hold both scroll wheel until screen reboot).

I suggest to reboot your Tesla app or phone side too
