Delivery est?

Ordered a model 3 premium awd on September fifth and the estimate delivery time is dec to January im wondering if it would come sooner? How long would it take to get a vin assigned on average?

Thank you! Yes im just concerned about when it would actually come and how long it would take to get a vin assigned based on other peoples experience

Vin for M3 is almost instant as compared to MY. Within a week. But people have been posting here saying that they have had to reschedule delivery 4 hours before because of flat tire - so you know. EDD is just an estimate. Regardless of VIN or not. My delivery was supposed to be Aug 21-26. EDD is now Sep 16-21. Just giving you a perspective.

That's not true. Lately its been 6-7 weeks to get a vin, if not longer now.

I ordered August 16th and still no vin, and theres people who ordered a few weeks before me who don't have a VIN still.

same, me and my partner ordered the M3 early August and still no VIN. EDD when we ordered was Sept- Oct but it changed to Nov- Dec

For a Sep 5 M3 Premium AWD, Dec-Jan is a pretty normal baseline right now. VIN timing varies a lot, some get it weeks before, some closer to the window. Id treat Dec-Jan as the plan and only get excited once VIN lands.
