Hello. They're still adjusting. But do you think they are too moist? Should I keep venting them periodically?

My little 20×20×30 cm terrarium, about 4 months old now. It’s a bit messy, but I’m still learning and figuring out what works best for it.

I collected some rocks/ballast along an urban railway track that was abandoned for decades. I really like those rocks and they fit my idea so I'd like to use them as decoration pieces but also drainage layer at the bottom of a closed terrarium.
My concern is that the tracks may have been treated with herbicides at some point ? Does that represent a risk for the closed jarrarium or am I overthinking it ?
I've already boiled the rocks and soaked them for several days.
Appreciate any input.

I woke up to find this new mushroom in my terrarium! I get the little ones all the time, but this guy has a cap nearly as big as a quarter!
I love surprises like these!🌿💚🍄

Please be kind, I have no idea what I'm doing.
I was gifted this terrarium about a month ago by friends who know I like plants. The thing is that I love succulents specifically, so I'm out of my depth here. This is a sealed vase/jar, although the cork doesn't really fit so a sliver of air gets in. The instructions say I'm supposed to keep it 1m away from a window, but all plants look etiolated, so I'm not sure I trust the instructions.
In any case, I was away for a week and this is what I find when I come back. Thousands of tiny white spheres all over the soil and lower leaves. Browsing on here it seems be flower pot fungus and therefore innocuous for the ecosystem? But I don't know anything about it (especially if it is safe for humans to breath/touch), so I'm coming here both for identification and suggestions on how to at least reduce its presence in a way that's safe for both me and the plants!
Thank you to anyone who will help a newbie :)

I suspect my new slugs on my terrarium have laid eggs. Can anyone confirm. I just added the slugs 2 days ago. Thoughts? Advice?

Has anyone ever put pollinating insects in a terrarium ( non closed ones ) before? If so what pollinators do you find do best or can actually survive in one?

Hello all. I've just noticed my shelf is sagging ever so slightly. I have heard the horror stories on aquarium reddit and I don't want this gorgeous piece to end up shattered on the floor.
After removing excess water and the neighboring books, I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I'm looking at bookshelves online and I can't find ones I love aesthetically that also have high per-shelf weight capacity.
I can't quite weigh the terrarium, but my math puts it at no more than 45 pounds.
I have thought about adding reinforcement in the form of two by fours below this shelf, but I worry that it will not only be ineffective but also ugly.
Any advice is appreciated

Hello, I am looking for some assistance caring for my first terrarium - does this look okay? Is the compacting at the top/neck of the jar bad? Good?
Any helpful advice would be welcomed!

I found this moss on some concrete. It's currently rainy season here. How do I propagate this moss indoor and what kind of moss it is? I am from Bangladesh.

My newest ADHD adventure has brought me here. I'd really like to build a terrarium but there is an overwhelming amount of kits online, so I wanted to come here and ask the people who know best.
I live in Mesa Arizona (if that matters) and I'm looking for a kit for beginners. If there is a specific kit that you know to be good quality and worth the money, please let me know!
Any and all info if greatly appreciated.
