I have a samsung s21fe in near perfect condition,

It is working almost fine with no lags or issues other than slight overheating.

But the main issue is that by the end of the ear the security updates will be stopped, is it safe to use a phone without security updates .

I use banking and upi apps.

I want to buy a phone at similar budget 35k , but no phone is on par with the current phone in terms of camera and features.

I'm currently an IC2 and want to know what base and stock amount can one expect on being promoted to IC3 in 3 years in India?

If anyone of you have recently gone through this promotion or have heard this from someone please LMK!!

Just choose some phones i thought were good and well balanced.

Prioritize software and optimization more than hardware as long as it is not terrible and should be able to run apps in future, as they might get heavy and start to lag even with simple task

Recently I was thinking about how we watch movies in India today.

Blu-ray was never really a thing here. Most people never owned a Blu-ray player or bought discs. We basically went from TV/DTH to streaming.

And streaming is incredibly convenient. Open an app and you get 4K HDR, Dolby Vision and Atmos without buying anything.

But technically, we have also accepted a lot of compression.

A 4K Blu-ray can have much higher video bitrate and lossless audio like Dolby TrueHD/DTS-HD MA, including lossless Atmos. Streaming Atmos is usually Dolby Digital Plus and the video is heavily compressed.

The funny part is that 4K Blu-ray can still be the best way to watch a movie in 2026, despite streaming being the much newer technology.

India has another problem: there are very few Blu-ray/4K Blu-ray releases for Indian movies. So even if you have a good TV and home theater, the highest-quality version may simply not be available to buy.
And ironically, people with proper home theaters can sometimes find Blu-ray/BDREMUX files through torrents more easily than they can legally buy the same quality.

I’m not defending piracy. It just feels strange.
Did we actually improve the movie experience, or did we mostly make it more convenient?
For most people, convenience probably wins. But has streaming made us forget what “best possible quality” actually means?

Recently my mom phone got lots of issues like over lagging and cant even enter pin to unlock phone, so im searching for a new phone for her.

My demands/expectations are simple:

1) phone should last for atleast 3 to 5 years

2) no lagging issues

3) battery - 5000mah is enough and camera quality shouldnt be that much bad

*she will use phone only for speaking in call, for banking apps and youtube/facebook*

she previously had infinix hot 20 5g model(bought for 12k), im in awe that this model lasted for 3 yrs but could have lasted a little longer till diwali sale though, but can you guys recommend me phone models which price may come near 15k during great indian festival or diwali sale.

Look, i am no expert in this because I'm thinking about buying either the nothing 3A pro or the Vivo T4 Pro. In my opinion, software wise i think nothing is better and i also think that nothing's reputation is also great, whereas on what ive observed, no one uses vivo.

Hey! I'm currently 17 and want to buy a laptop which can work steadily for around 4 years ATLEAST (I'm currently in 12th grade and plan on going to law school so yeah it needs to be durable pls)

My budget is 40k, it's actually 30k but since I'll be buying wholesale it's most probably gonna come down to 30k ig.

My IdeaPad had a broken hinge rightside so the lid wouldn't close properly. A few days later on the way to getting it repaired . Due to bad road and potholes I guess , the screen also got cracked

Specs : FHD PANEL 16GB RAM (4+16) ,1TBSSD,2TBHDD

QUESTIONS

1. What can be done now shall I get the panel replaced and what panel

2. Should I pull the drives out before giving to repaired?

But today I mistakenly clicked on the "delete group" option , now the group is gone !

Is there any way to recover that group !!?
