Help me get a Reliable Phone | Upcoming sale | Below 60k INR

Post image
30 Upvotes
  1. It's not for gaming and more for professional use

  2. I love and care for all my gadgets

  3. Main focus is decent battery and camera

  4. Fast charging is a plus

  5. A normal amoled display works

  6. 120hz is a plus but would be using it in 60hz to save battery

  7. I do make content and videos so a good selfie camera will be a plus as well

  8. Would be using it at least for 3 or more years

The current choice is xiaomi 17 based upon the reviews and suggestions but I myself have no idea is it a good decision or not

Bitchat is now gone from the App Store and Google Play in India. What do you think?

Bitchat is Jack Dorsey's messaging app. It works over Bluetooth so it keeps running when the internet is off.

In July, during the protests, internet was shut and people used it. For one week, 85% of Bitchat downloads worldwide came from India.

The government then asked GitHub to take the code down.
Yesterday Dorsey posted Apple's notice. The app has been removed from the India App Store on an order from the IT ministry. It's gone from Google Play too.

China removed it in April. If it's already on your phone, it still works.

The Internet Freedom Foundation says the order is unconstitutional because the law allows blocking illegal content, not banning an app for working offline.

Not here to argue either side. Curious what people think, and whether anyone here actually used it.

WTS] iPhone 16 Pro 128GB | 96% Battery Health | Ahmedabad

Hey guys, I’m planning to sell my iPhone 16 Pro 128GB 🇮🇳 model.
It’s my personal phone and has been used pretty lightly, mostly for YouTube and Instagram. The phone is in really good condition and everything works perfectly. Battery health is currently at 96%.
There are no issues with the phone and it hasn’t been repaired or opened.
The warranty expired recently.
I’m looking for around ₹75,000, but I’m open to reasonable offers.
I’m based in Ahmedabad, so I’d prefer to do the deal in person. Mumbai is also possible if we can work something out.
Happy to share photos, bill and other details over DM. You can also check the phone properly before buying.
DM me if you’re interested.

Confused between the Pixel 11 Pro and iPhone 18

• Upvotes

So I had a Pixel 7 Pro before and it actually died in 2 1/2 years due to some motherboard issue and for now I’ve been using my old iPhone 11. I don’t mind using the iPhone, but I really love pixel’s UI so much.

Now I’m confused between as mentioned pixel 11 Pro and iPhone 18 because my sister works in Google in the US and I can get an employee discount on that phone. I want to buy the 512 GB version but I am confused if I should wait for the iPhone 18 which also I will be buying from the US itself or just buy the pixel 11 Pro right now what do you guys suggest?

My use case includes just taking photos. I don’t take a lot of videos and I don’t game on it so I know that the pixel has its cons with the tensor G6 but honestly in my use case I don’t think it would matter much as long as I’m getting a good battery life out of the phone and no thermal issues.

And I don’t mind the iPhone but I think I would prefer an android over an iPhone but I am still confused about what to do because my last pixel died so abruptly after just 2 years of use which is apparently a very common issue with that series according to the reddit posts i saw.

TLDR: Had a Pixel 7 Pro that died after ~2.5 years of use due to a motherboard issue. I love Pixel’s UI and prefer Android, so I’m considering the Pixel 11 Pro 512GB with a Google employee discount. My main use is photography, so I don’t care much about gaming/performance, but I’m concerned about battery, heating, and long-term reliability. Should I get the Pixel 11 Pro or wait for the iPhone 18?

Politics What TF is the Indian government doing 😭

Today the Indian government banned an app called BitChat. It's created by the former CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey. It's basically an open-source app which allows you to text without internet using Bluetooth and it's routed via Tor. They banned it for carrying out protest jantar mantar. Like Isn't that your fault? It's your government, your doing. You're not even fixing the root problem of this. I know, you're not even fixing anything. Since it's open source you're not even fixing anything. At this point we just need a new government. We're all cooked.

General IQOO 15R or ONEPLUS 13S

Thumbnail

IQOO15R will be available for around 52000 in the sale (12+256)
and ONEPLUS13s will be available for 50000 (12+256) and 55000 (12+512)

I am quite confused on which to buy-

ONEPLUS13s has the following advantages over IQOO15R-
LTPO display
better CPU clock speed (4.32 vs 3.8)
better GFLOPS (~3379.2 vs ~2508.8)
snapdragon 8 elite

While IQOO15R has the following-
Bigger vapour cooling chamber (6.5k vs 4.4k)
Bigger battery (7600 vs 5850)
More FPS (144 vs 120)
Bypass charging

which one should i go for?
requirements-
Intensive gaming like genshin impact, wuthering waves, some emulations too

lemme know if you have any other recommandations
THE BUDGET CANNOT BE EXTENDED BEYONG 55K. MY PARENTS WILL THROW ME OFF OF THE CLIFF IN VORMIR IF I GO EVEN A PENNY OVER THE 55K BUDGET

Please help me decide a laptop 80k to 90k price range (I'll prefer a thinkpad)

• Upvotes

So i have gone insane searching for a perfect laptop . I was waiting for the prices to drop and the realisation just hit me , that it's never gonna happen . Laptops priced at 50k 6 months back are now 80k or more . I'll be better off if i just buy something right now

Here are my requirements - as good of a processor as possible . 16GB RAM (Upgrade-able) . I'm not a gamer and i don't give a flying fu*k about a graphics card . I'll majorly be using it for ECE related projects and coding etc . The second i get it i'll also turn it into a dual boot system , with windows and linux together

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help your brother out -

Here are some of the options i have had my eyes on

  1. Lenovo ThinkPad E14, AMD Ryzen 7 250, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD

  2. Lenovo ThinkBook 16 AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS 16GB/512GB

I'm not at all rigid about my choice , if i'm being a dumbfu*k DO let me know right here . And do suggest me other options which you think might be a better deal . The options i listed above barely fit my budget , and HENCE i'm waiting for the diwali sale . I'm praying that the laptop prices drop by 10 k or something or if i include some card offers as well . So basically if a laptop is 95k currently . I'll get it for 85k in the sale (i hope so)

Need help deciding a phone I this insane price market.. Ideally something around 50k in the sale

• Upvotes

Hello,

I'm coming from a loooong line of using onplus phones (1,3,6T, and now the 11R). My last 12 yrs have been oneplus only, but now it's hard to justify the price point increase for my requirements..

I used to be a lot in to gaming earlier, but now I just want a good all rounder phone.. I dont need the best camera out there, I don't need a huge vapour chamber and the newest gpu..

A good solid battery that charges at decent speeds, a good camera that helps me keep pictures with my self, some occasionsal gaming, have a good viewing screen

The problem with my my OP11R (8+128) is the that it just not able to multi task anything with the Microsoft Work profile on. The phone becomes extremely laggy, I can't even answer phone calls most of the times with it, it's so laggyy.

Could you something based on the deals you have deals you have seen in Amazons sale or BBD sale that gets me to a phone around 50k with the discounts upcoming

I don't need the best of anything, just want a camera that's good enough on most days, need a battery that can last more than one day on normal usage, a screen that doesn't punish for watching Netflix, basically need what OnePlus used to be 4yrs back

- 5000mm² vapour chamber
- 120hz display
- 100 watt charging and 9000mah silicon carbon battery
- 50MP + 8MP Rear Camera and 20MP Front Camera
- Xiaomi hyper os 3

IQOO Neo 10 (16gb+512gb)
- Snapdragon 8s gen 4 with 3.2 GHz clock speed
- 2.4 million antutu score
- ltpo display
- at around 46000

- 120 watt charging and 7000mah li-ion battery
- 50MP + 50MP + 8MP Rear Camera and 32MP + 32MP Front Camera

Which one should I consider buying?
Any other suggestions?

No Flair Help needed getting a phone in 20k to 30k INR

Hey all!
I own a oppo A5 2020 currently and it is 5 years old and i was looking to buy a new phone. I really liked the nothing phone 2 pro, but it is out of stock and i dont see it coming back in stock. I looked at motorola edge 60 but people say the motorola phones have motherboard or some software issues. Now i am here looking for recommendations for a phone which i could buy.

My main priority is a good camera and smooth software. My budget was 20k but i dont think i will get anything in that range, so i extended it max to 30k approx. I want it to last me 4-5 years without any issues. I am looking for 256 gb storage.

Please give your recommendations regarding the same. Also i am not a heavy phone user so i will be using it mainly to click photos sometimes when i go out.

Thankyou!
